Untoxicating Beauty Subscription Box Review - April

Untoxicating Beauty is a new eco-friendly beauty subscription box. Unlike other boxes that send a variety of brands each month, Untoxicating Beauty sends out several products from one eco-friendly brand each month. It's a little riskier if you don't like the brand, but if you do - it can be a great value, and a great way to discover new brands!

Untoxicating Beauty Subscription Box Review - April 2014 Info

Each box comes with a letter detailing the brand featured in the box and why it is "untoxicating." This month they are featuring Jing Ai.

Untoxicating Beauty Subscription Box Review - April 2014 Blush

Jing Ai Sierra Glow Duu in Piccadilly - Value $28

This blush is very pigmented, so a little goes a long way. I also love their packaging - the paper has wild flower seeds in it for you to grow!

Untoxicating Beauty Subscription Box Review - April 2014 Brush

Jing Ai Kabuki Brush - Value $22

I always need more brushes, so this was a nice addition to the box.

Untoxicating Beauty Subscription Box Review - April 2014 Eye Liner

Jing Ai Picasso Automatic Eye Pencil - Value $22

I like this eye liner a lot. It took a few seconds to warm up on my skin, but then it applied very smoothly - and I love that it is made with organic oils!

Verdict: I paid $35 for this box and received $72 worth of products. I love that everything in this box is full size, and I'll use every item, so I'm very happy with the value. And I had no idea this Jing Ai brand existed - so that's another plus!

I am so surprised this box isn’t more popular. I have been so happy with the 4 boxes I have gotten so far. Not sure if their marketing plan isn’t addressing people finding out about it or what. I think this box is right up there with Petit Vour so maybe its the cost of this box compared to that one? Just curious, as I would like to see this sub box succeed since there are so few boxes dedicated to chemical free, high end brands!

I want to see this box succeed too! 🙂 I’m guessing they are pretty small right now and don’t have a marketing budget. Hopefully the keep growing!

Liz, you must have 10,000 black eyeliners from all your sub boxes! 🙂

Haha – if I ever take the time reorganize my makeup dresser, I think I’ll discover you are right! 🙂
