Time to cancel and try something else. I’m still looking at the April box wondering whom to give most of this stuff to.

Holy comments, I had no idea my (ah! non streaming!) blu ray player was so outdated! I must be the only one who can’t afford streaming services. Yikes.
I’m personally excited about the DVD, and the box in general! The citrus infuser is awesome and I’ve wanted to get one for a while. And the sleep mask is pretty sweet.

I cannot afford a Blu-Ray player (or a DVR or a DVD or cable). Streaming is much cheaper for us.

So, I just got my May box, which is my second box. Props to PS, because this box was processed, and got here lightning fast. I was hoping after I got it I would love it more, but I don’t. I was really hoping for jewelry, and then I saw the spoiler, and was a little bummed. I was hoping I would love the perfume, but I am so sensitive to scents, and get headaches. There is not enough “coconut” in it for me, and I don’t think it will work. PS should have maybe not have made the high cost item perfume, since scent is so personal. The sleep mask is kind of on the flimsy side, and I really needed no more blue nail polish. The snacks, water bottle, and DVD will be used. Oh, well, these boxes are a gamble. There is always next month.

I LOVE PS boxes. I have only received 3 so far and I really liked them. When I first saw the brokedown scarf with the blue/gray/white pattern I was irritated, but figured out how to wrap it and paired with a cap sleeve white tee and it’s my all time favorite and looks GREAT in photos! So… play around with the items before being so judgmental. The idea is to get items you may normally not purchase or know about. I enjoy the fun of the surprise. I am very excited about the sleep mask. I have a few and I just lost one due to a broken strap. Also love that brand of snack. I haven’t tried that flavor so I’m excited to try! Very excited about the water bottle. I have SEVERAL water bottles I love for various reasons and now I can try this one for fun variety. I’m pretty conservative so not sure on the nail polish, but I am excited to try it. If not, I will surprise one of my nieces with a fun new summer color. Who knows what the perfume will bring, but I look forward to trying it out. Again, if it doesn’t work out for me, it will make a fun “pay it forward gift” for some lucky lady that I think will like it. I’m all about exercise and so is my husband. We built a large, very complete home gym in our home with all of the bells and whistles. However, we still do what I call “P.E. class exercises” and various videos just to liven it up and change it up mentally. It gets pretty boring when you try nothing new. I’m very pleased and can’t wait to get my hands on my May box!

I’ve received blue polish in 3 recent ipsys and now pop sugar. I wish there was a way to opt out of blue nail polish, now and forever. I love love love trying out new nail polishes but it’s always blue which I completely detest on myself and instantly give away. Just once, a pink or red or peach or nude would be nice.

I felt underwhelmed when I saw these spoilers at first glance, but the more I looked at each item, the more I was excited about every one of them. I’m looking forward to this box mostly because of the workout video, the infuser and to see if the perfume works for me! It sure sounds like my kind of perfume 🙂

I just got into infused water so I’m pumped about the water bottle. And the sleep mask! I’m also looking forward to the perfume. I love pop sugar.

Oh wow I’ve been waiting for this moment. For the last couple of weeks I’ve searched high and low for spoilers and couldn’t find one thing. My last box was in April and have not renewed . This May box I don’t like and feel like I dodged a bullet. Boy they really are hit and miss.
On a side note (don’t kill me for bringing this up), I received my replacement for the ugly bad dirty leather “clutch” from the Resort box and this time it was navy leather and I have to say the bag for what it is, is flawless. The leather is perfect.
I also received what i’m guessing was a blanket email that went out, saying they were going to send me this “lip spread” (I forgot the brand) to sort of make up for the delays in shipping. The email said if you subscribed it would be in the May box, if you didn’t subscribe it would come to the address where they sent the resort box. That was pretty decent.

Oh man. I’m super happy I cancelled after the April box.

My only problem is that I got a fruit infusion bottle from Coco Rocha last month. I guess I’ll decide which one I like better once it arrives & gift the other.

Not a fan of this box. I don’t use DVDs anymore. We just got rid of all of our DVDs because they were taking up room and we do everything streaming now with our Roku. DVDs are outdated. The sleep mask, eh. Sure it is a cute design, but you can get a basic one at TJ Maxx for $4. I don’t really need one with a cute design. The bottle sounds like a good idea, but I think it is something I wouldn’t actually use much. Already have too much nail polish and own several similar colors. The perfume might be the only thing worth it, but that is if I liked the smell. Never heard of this brand/scent so it would be a big gamble.

DVDs aren’t outdated for all of us 🙂 It’s very nice if you can afford a streaming service or a DVR, but believe me, there are many, many of us who still have our DVD players and use them. Heck, I thought indulging in a blu ray player last year was decadent. Who knew I’d be so out of style!

Streaming is cheaper for us than cable or DVDs or DVD players. We pay $7.99/month for tv and movies. Sure beats the $70 cable bill we use to pay! I cannot afford a Blu-Ray player or DVDs!

I find it funny how most people get upset when they send fitness items… hello that is one of their themes… no one really like exercise but it is good for you, and they tend to send the fitness items when people should use them, I mean swimsuit season is upon us… every month I love this box, its a great value and its exactly what they market, just gets a bit annoying reading all the negative comments over an “adult grab bag” it s the risk you take when you gamble…

I am regretting forgetting to cancel this subscription following my first Popsugar mailing in April. That box was great in that for the costs of the TooFaced pallet, I received all these fun extras. I want absolutely nothing from the spoilers shown above. If I was into fitness, I would order a fitness box. Is it too late to cancel?

Last month was just TOO good…so I have cancelled my sub for now. I’m glad I saved my money this month, but overall I think Popsugar is one of the best boxes around if it fits in your budget.

I got this box for $29.95 which I think was a great deal, it’s not my favorite month but it’s by far the Most useful box I have had in a long time so I can’t wait to get it.

After gifting myself April and then signing up thinking it was for May getting a 2nd April, I’m glad tact mistake was last month. I won’t be able to use the perfume so that’s going into the swap already
Glad I signed up though.

Not happy with this May box, but will stick with PS. I do not use DVDs – that technology is so outdated, and I really hate getting nail polish in sub boxes. Who can use all the nail polish?? But PS is the best overall sub – I would never take the chance of missing a single monthly or SE box 🙂

I don’t subscribe but wait to see the spoilers and then gift one to myself. I’m going to skip this month as nothing in here pops out at me, except, I’m with the majority, the perfume. I just splurged and bought the $149 Golden Tote as i really need clothes, hope that one is a win.

This month will be my first popsugar box. I am kind of dissapointed. Other boxes from the past looked better than this one. Maybe once it is in my hands I will like it more.

From what I say, that is usually what happens; people don’t like the spoilers much and then when they get the box they get excited. This sub has been a hit and miss lately and i keep crossing my fingers that they’ll go back to being more consistent like last year. I really do hope you enjoy it once it is in your hands!

Hmmm… I am not impressed with this box at all. I can honestly say I don’t like anything in it, with the exception of maybe the perfume, IF I like how it smells on me. Oh well… some are hits and some are misses! I absolutely loved everything in April’s box! We’ll see what June holds.

This one is looking better and better to me every time I see spoilers/reviews. I’m just reluctant to bite the bullet for a $40 monthly subscription. If I cancel something and free up some space in the budget, Popsugar is probably next on my list to sign up for, though.

I loved April’s PopSugar so this box looks like a bit of a letdown to me. Having the highest valued item a perfume is a gamble to me since scent is such a personal choice. As usual, anything I don’t use gets gifted so I never worry too much about what I recieve. The video and nail polish are what I’m happy about with the spoilers!

I agree Paula, a lot hinges on whether or not you like the perfume! I really hope I do, otherwise this box is not so great.

Love it!! Really looking forward to all of it except perhaps the workout DVD. (I don’t have the space to work out at home.) Yay!
