Okay I just placed an order for a 3-month gift subscription. I’m not sure how people do the multiple subscriptions so what I did was do it in my hedgehog Zoe’s name. I cannot wait until I get an Oriental Trading Co. Catalog in the name of one of my hedgies!

Yeah, but it’s $25 off a $75 purchase, so you still have to shell out at least $50 of your own money. I’d be glad to do that if it was something I was planning to buy anyway, but I’ve just been on a shoes/handbags buying binge and need to cut back on the spending for awhile.

I just placed my order. . .the necklace is adorable and $10 for one month of Birchbox and a free necklace is a great deal. I’ve had horrible luck with Birchbox in the past (I always seemed to get the ‘punishment’ boxes). I’m ready to give them another try and I hope they are better this time around, since I just cancelled Sample Society. The code said “accepted” but I didn’t see anything on my order or emailed receipt either.

O me too.last box i ordered they gave me 3 of the most tiny samples and a piece of one bite candy! I told them what gives. And cancelled. They said they couldnt delete my “site” account, just the subscription.

I think that they didn’t have enough people buying it that they now added as a bonus for new subscribers. I’m always not happy when new subscribers get more than the tried and true who have stuck through them for years, through good and bad boxes.

I just gifted myself a second subscription. I entered the promo code, and it said it was accepted, but I didn’t see anything saying I would receive the necklace. Did this happen to anyone else?

This code was from their Facebook page, put up yesterday. From what I’m reading, almost everyone had the same issue: they inputed the code, but there was nothing on the invoice to say they got it. Birchbox said you’re “good to go” if the code was accepted. If you want to know for sure, message them on Facebook.
And one other thing: the necklace will not come in your box. It will be mailed separately.

FWIW: There’s also a video from the social media manager. She says that the offer is good with ANY subscription; you do not have to buy a three month one. Monthly will get you the necklace.

OMG, I just gifted myself another 3-mos. sub, too. How can you not? Super cute, high-value necklace. Same happened for me, it says PC was accepted, and then there’s no further indication you are getting necklace after that in cart. But we will 🙂

I was able to use the code by upgrading to an annual subscription. It did the same thing for me, but on my email receipt it says”Free Kate Spade Saturday Necklace with Subscription, BBSATURDAYFB”
I was also able to all the sample pack for free with purchase to my order.
