Funko has a way of making everything in their POP! line super cute, and these fit the pattern!

Nerd Block Junior Girls Subscription Box Review - May 2014 Hello Kitty

Hello Kitty Blind Surprise Egg - Value $5?

Nerd Block Junior Girls Subscription Box Review - May 2014 Polly Pocket

Polly Pocket Blind Pack - Value $4

I'm sure I sound old saying this, but when I played with Polly Pocket as a kid it looked like this! (And I just spent way too much time reminiscing on that site!)

Nerd Block Junior Girls Subscription Box Review - May 2014 Crayola

Crayola EZ-3D Xtreme Coloring - Value $6

Verdict: I think this box is consistently a good value. This month's value is about $32 (we paid $20 for this box). I think all the toys are on-trend, and I like that they included a creative coloring kit too!

My 7 year old loved the Polly Pocket and the Hello Kitty. Not too big of a fan of the Crayola and Despicable Me. However, she is very excited for next months.

This was our first Nerdblock and my 7 year old loved the Polly Pocket and Hello Kitty. She did not care for the Crayola kit and Despicable Me bookmark. She can’t wait for next month.

This box looks so great! Now all I need is a subscription service to drop off a new little girl monthly so I have an excuse to buy! I also heard about a new fashion accessory box for girls aged 5+ called Posh Pak – it sounds fantastic!

Just curious, do any girls seem to take issue with the nerd block name? Seems like they might be sensitive to it at that age.

Alyssa,

My daughter who is about to turn 7 gets the girl Nerd Block, and she loves them. She doesn’t mind being called a nerd either. Once I explained what a nerd was, she thought it was funny. 🙂

I was very happy with this box! It’s a good assortment. I got the exact same box. I’m saving the Hello Kitty blind pack and Polly Pocket for my girls when we go on our road trip. I’ve been eyeing these bookmarks, so I’m excited one was included in this box!
