GoodeBox Eco Beauty Subscription Box Review – May

GoodeBox is a natural and organic beauty box. They usually have a good mix of full size and sample size products.

GoodeBox Eco Beauty Subscription Box Review – May 2014 Info

FYI - it looks like they will be customizing the box starting next month!

GoodeBox Eye Shadow

Tatcha Petal Fresh Original Blotting Papers - FULL SIZE! Value $12

Orglamix Eye Shadow in Aster - FULL SIZE! Value $9

I was checking out the Orglamix site and discovered that they have their own eye shadow subscription box! $19.99 a month for 3 eye shadows. I'm intrigued!

GoodeBox Eco Beauty Subscription Box Review – May 2014 Skincare

Derma e Evenly Radiant Brightening Cleanser, Night Creme, and Dark Circle Eye Creme - 3 Sample Packets Each Value $10 total

I'm never too excited about foil packet samples, but at least I got a few of them!

goodebox-shea

Shea Radiance Maximum Curl Defining Cream - 2 oz Value $4

I usually straighten my hair, so I'm not sure I'll end up using this - but it does smell fantastic!

Verdict: I paid $18 for this box and received about $35 worth of items. I'm happy with the value and also very pleased to see they are back to only sending beauty items (last month's socks seemed out of place!).

What do you think of the May GoodeBox?

I love Orglamix eyeshadow. I think it’s similar in quality to the likes of Urban Decay and Mac minus the chemicals. I appreciate that they are cruelty-free. I received Larkspur in my Goodebox. This one looked kinda basic in the jar, but its amazing on my hazel eyes. They have loads of unique colors. I went back and ordered Forget Me Not, Lilac and one other I forget the name. I can not wait to get them.

I just purchased 3 Orlgamix eyeshadows on sale for 6.99 each! This subscription intrigues me because I am ingredient and animal-cruelty conscious. I’m sure I will try this box eventually. I think Orglamix changes their shadows frequently.

This was my 1st Goode box, skipping the next one after this. It is nice because with Goodebox you have an option subscribe every other month :). I wish more box companies would offer that feature. The value is there, yet this box was not for me. Hoping I will like the month after next month better.

I got some of those blotting papers from Sample Society awhile back. I think they’re pretty good. Guess when I start seeing the same items in different beauty boxes, it’s a sign that I probably subscribe to enough boxes and don’t need any more. (Already ran into that issue with food subs.)
