Conscious Box is on sale today at RueLaLa! You can get a 3-month PLUS subscription for $35 (Normally $56.85), or a 6-month PLUS subscription for $65 (Normally $107.70).

Are you going to grab a subscription to the new Conscious box? I was getting a little frustrated with all the tiny samples they used to send out, but it looks like they have revamped their site and their box, so I'm going to give it another try!

I did the Rue La la deal for plus box and loved it! Very happy! Must be the PLUS don’t get smaller one.

This is by far the worst box I’ve ever seen. You can go to GNC and pick up all of these samples. Nothing at all full sized or even a deluxe sample. The second box I received was the same as the first, except for two items. A garbage back and a wipe for electronics. This company should be ashamed. I also thought Already subscribed and now you want to cancel? Good luck. The communication I have experienced has been poor. I cancelled and they send me a confirmation asking me if I’m sure I want to cancel. I say: YES! They still havent cancelled. I just started talking to my credit card company today about reversing the charges. They should call this is unconscious box.

I strongly suggest you DO NOT get this box. I have just received my third month, I got the plus subscription which is supposed to be upgraded. What a joke, I cant imagine what is in the lower end box. 5 of my 10 samples have been the same every single month and none of them are products I use…one of them is a dog vitamin which I find especially odd because its so specific, I do have dogs, but if I didn’t I would be even more upset that ive gotten it 3 months in a row! One sample this month was a garbage bag…and the highest value item in the box…a box of mac and cheese, $3 at walmart. this box is $20 a month and you get about $9 worth of products. And you better hope you love them because you will get the same ones every month. It seems like they are going under and just trying to get rid of their inventory.

I also purchased it via Living Social deal, was semi pleased with my first box in April. But I just received May’s today & over 50% of the items are EXACTLY the same as I received in April. I emailed them, waiting to hear back to see if this was some kind of a mistake! I have one more month to go on my subscription and will definitely cancel after that. I can’t imagine they could do anything that would truly change my option of the small sample sized items that dont’ seem to even add up to $10. 🙁

I’d recommend against trying again right now. The living social deal has not made this worth it. Almost all of it is sample packets. The 8-12 things is a joke. The only thing in thankful for is they introduced me to peeled snacks.

This was one of the most disappointing subscription experiences. The products were weird or terrible and all small if you do not cancel before the first of the month they will charge you for an additional month too… Mind you that you are charged BEFORE you even get the first box. I had to fight to get a refund. Buyer beware.

I used a groupon deal to get a conscious box last month, and I absolutely loved it! I thought it had a lot of good products, and some were full sized. You need to make sure you’re getting the plus box and not the taster to get the best products. I think I may get the Rue La La deal for 6 months because at a little over $10/month I think it’s worth it!

Oooh this is tempting! I got one back in February because there was a deal where I only had to pay shipping and I’d been wanting to try the box for a while. I was so disappointed. As others have stated, foil packets galore and they had this tea to help you quit smoking (very random) that just gave me a sneezing fit! I had to throw it away immediately. I’m happy to hear that they have changes, but like others, I’ll hold off for a review.

Yeah, the “changes” don’t really seemed to have happened. I started in April and the changes were supposed to have happened either April or May. Still a foil packet party. Bummer because I did the Living Social 3 month deal and even though it was $27 for 3 months I don’t think it’s worth it.

My sentiment exactly. I also did the LS deal for 3 months and I think I even got a “limited time offer” knocking an extra couple bucks off. The April box was pretty good. Not all of the products were right for me (I got the deluxe gluten free box), but at least I saw value to the box above what I paid for it anyway. I don’t think I see even an $8 value in the box I received this month. Four of the items are duplicates from last month (and not good duplicates), and the other items ( a single small garbage bag, a single lens wipe, a single coffee pod, 2 granola bars, a small tetrapack of coconut water, and 6 caramels which now taste like coffee because the coffee was sent without packaging) are less than impressive. The whole thing can’t be worth more than $5-$10 and that’s if I was going to use everything, which I’m not. When I bought the LS deal I honestly thought that 3 boxes had to at least be worth more than the $24 I was paying, but now I’m not so sure.

I bought a sub when it was on Living Social in March. I will not be resubbing when it runs out. I have gotten 2 boxes so far, and they are 99% foil samples, and I have gotten identical samples in both boxes. JJust not

It’s just not for me.

I cancelled because I kept getting the same things over and over. No variety at all. It was tiny samples which would have been ok getting the same if I liked what I was getting in the first place.

Tempting, but I think I’ll wait for reviews to see if this box has improved.
