What do you think of the May Birchbox spoilers? Any items you hope will be in your box? (Or hope won’t be in your box?) I was hoping to see some new brands in the spoilers this month, but hopefully there will still be some new brand discoveries this month - they are sampling over 50 products!

I really hope I get the Pixie lip product! I rarely use eye make up because of allergies and I have sensitive skin so I’m a bit obsessed with lip products.

Sneaky Burrito

Is it weird that the video bothers me? I never do personal grooming stuff in public so there’s something very odd about watching people put on BB cream on a city street. (The most I’ll do is retouch lipstick or brush my hair in my office when no one is around — I have my own office with a door I can shut.)

Or maybe it was that obnoxious song.

At any rate, would be glad to try most of the products previewed, except I think the BB cream will be too dark for me because I am the lightest foundation shade and I don’t go outside in the sun (family history of skin cancer) so my skin won’t darken this summer.

Does anyone know if Birchbox actually pays attention to changes in your profile? I re-signed up late last month and they sent me an April box. I liked it fairly well, but the products reminded me a lot of the past boxes that caused me to cancel. Of course, I may have gotten whatever was left at the end of the month because I signed up late. I guess May will tell; mine is already on its way.

I’ll be happy with any of those except for the shaving cream. Am I the only person who doesn’t have time to use a separate shaving cream in the shower? I received shaving cream in another box recently and just gave it to my husband because I know it’ll just sit in my shower unused until I toss it out.

Love the Marcelle BB cream. I got a sample last summer. I wish they offered a lighter tint. I can wear this shade only in summer.
