Tyler Florence Fancy Box Review

The Tyler Florence Fancy Box is a monthly subscription box curated by Tyler Florence and the Fancy Team. If you’re looking for a mix of cooking tools and new ingredients to try, I definitely recommend this box.

(We’ve been subscribers to the Tyler Florence Fancy box since the first month, but this month Fancy offered to send me this box at no cost for review purposes).

Tyler Florence Fancy Box Review - March 2014 Cards

Each box comes with cards detailing the items included.

Tyler Florence Fancy Box Review - March 2014 Tray

Ironwood Serving Board - Value $20?

Spoon Rest - Value $9

I LOVE this tray - it's perfect for our bar, and somehow I never bought a spoon rest but always needed one, so I'm thrilled with both of these items!

Tyler Florence Fancy Box Review - March 2014 Serverware

Bamboo Servers - Value $21

Cake Server - Value $6

More items I should have in my kitchen but don't - I lucked out with this box!

Tyler Florence Fancy Box Review - March 2014 Coasters

Round Slate Coasters - Value $12

Rustic Bakery Handmade Sourdough Flatbread Crackers - Value $8

These coasters are probably the only item in the box I'll end up gifting. I love the look of them, but our household is a little overwhelmed with coasters right now due to subscription boxes!

Verdict: I really love all the kitchen and serving items selected for this month's box! (I do love though when Tyler includes a food item or two from his line, so hopefully he'll get back to that for the next box!)

What did you think of the March Tyler Florence Box?

So I just paid for the May box and there was no tax assessed. By I was charged tax for the April box. The April box didn’t contain any food items so I’m wondering if it means the May box will..? April was my first box so idk before that. Any insight Liz or anyone??

Loved this box! I’m in Canada so didn’t get the crackers (food items don’t get put in the international orders) but got a very cool pot holder in its place. I can’t wait to get my coffee table back out (was put away with baby proofing our house) to get those slate coasters out. Can’t wait for the next box! By far my favourite Fancy box subscription (compared to Pink and Ashton Kutcher).

I just got a text that my first TF box has shipped yay! I hope it’s a good box with some Tyler Florence food items. Also I hope there’s no grilling items since I don’t have a grill. I was just thinking that it could be since summer is coming.. Anyways did anyone else have to pay tax?? I live in FL. It came out to $50 with shipping and tax. I usually refuse to pay for shipping for I really wanted this box

I recognize the bamboo serving set from the household items at Little Black Bag.

This box is my current fave. I think it’s a good mix of practical items and something new that I haven’t seen for the kitchen.

This was my third TF box I think, and I’ve been happy with them all. This box there were more things that I already had though. I think I’ll still find a use for the coasters anyway. The cake server is about the only thing I really can’t see needing another one of.

I love the little wooden serving tray, and it’s one of those things where even if you have “a” serving tray, you could still use and appreciate this one. 🙂

This April box was the first in my TF sub. I was so happy with everything, except, like Liz, I was already fully stocked on coaster sets. Even that item was high-quality and I swapped it right away – I could see the slate coasters going really well with one of those chalk board cheese platters if you had one… anyway, loved the wood serving board most of all and even swapped to get a second one. This box is now in my top 3 favorite subs.

I think maybe I’ll cancel my PopSugar sub for a little while and try out this one. (Can’t afford more than one $40 box at a time!) Love all those tools!
