Lip Factory Makeup Subscription Box Review - April

Lip Factory is a monthly full-size makeup subscription box. They tend to send a variety of drugstore and mid-tier makeup, and the value seems to always be at least double the cost of the box. (Extra good news – they ship worldwide!)

Lip Factory Makeup Subscription Box Review - April 2014 Bombshell

Be a Bombshell Eye Shadow in Dancing Queen - Value $14

Be a Bombshell Eye Crayon in Fetish - Value $14

These are fun eye makeup colors, I just have had a bit of an overload when it comes to Be a Bombshell cosmetics. (Subscription addict problems!)

Lip Factory Makeup Subscription Box Review - April 2014 Color Club

Jessie's Girl Eyeliner in Navy Seas - Value $2

Color Club Nail Polish in Soft As Cashmere - Value $8

I love the staying power of the Color Club nail polish formula, so adding another one to my collection is always a win!

Lip Factory Makeup Subscription Box Review - April 2014 NYX

NYX Butter Gloss in Strawberry Parfait - Value $5

OFRA Lipstick in Toffee - Value $13

This NYX butter gloss is a little too bright pink for me, but it does smell just like a strawberry parfait!

Verdict: I paid $22 for this box and received over $50 worth of full sized makeup. Even though not every product was for me, I still think Lip Factory is great value for building out a full sized makeup collection!

What do you think of Lip Factory?

I got the same eye crayon, my BaB eyeshadow was in Tease, a sort of teal with gray undertones that I absolutely love. I got the Ofra lipstick in Juicy, a bright red, and my mom looked at it so wistfully that I handed it right over (she tried it on and it’s lovely and not nearly as dark as we thought it would be). Nail polish in Peace Out Purple…not sure about that, but people here are saying such good things about the formula that I’m looking forward to trying it just the same. Brown eye pencil, and the only real disappointment was the NYX…Crème Brulee, which just disappears on me. Overall, really good box complete with cross-generational appeal!

My Lip Factory Box is currently en route and should be delivered some time early next week. I think I’d be quite content if my box contained the same shades as yours – especially when it comes to the nail polish. Fingers crossed! 🙂

I got the same eyeliner, eye crayon, and butter gloss that you did, but my others were different and I think for the better. My Color Club is vibrant purple (I’d tell you which, but no name was provided with), the Ofra lipstick in Berry Sexy (which is slightly more wearable than it looks) and the Bombshell shadow in Divine, which looks like Cinderella. This whole box was pretty great for me and makes up fully for last month’s dud box. I’ve really wanted to try the Be a Bombshell line, and am glad to see it in this box!

So tempted to try this box! I love the OFRA lipstick! It looks more like a light pink than the toffee that the name suggests, but it’s still a great shade!

I got the same purple eye crayon and I think my eye pencil was the same color, but everything else was different. I am really liking the Color Club polish, too. My Ofra lipstick was a brighter color but I’m OK with that. I actually went in and tweaked my profile to get more bright colors. I think this is the subscription box that I’m consistently the happiest with. (And I haven’t been into boxes long enough to have a surplus of Be a Bombshell products yet!)

Also, I had some credit card issues (bank replaced my card) and some trouble with PayPal as a result and Lip Factory customer service was wonderful even though I’m sure I annoyed the heck out of them. (They might take a few days to respond to your first e-mail, but they’re pretty quick after that.)

Wow! Great Value! I really want to sign up, yet I’m allergic to certain ingrediants which happen to be one of the ingrediant sfound in some of larger well known drugstore makeup brands, as well as some other mid to high end brands. I wish some of these box subscriptions could customize the boxes a bit more so based on allergies. If so, I would sign up for more :)!
