Fancy Mystery Box

Fancy Box recently introduced a $20 and $40 option to their Mystery Box, and I had to try both options for men and women. (And I'm happy to report - no wall decals!)

Here's a run down of each mystery box. (I thought separate posts for each might be a bit much!)

Verdict: I think these Fancy Mystery Boxes are WAY better than the $10 boxes, and I'm happy to see such variety in all the boxes. I think the $20 and $40 boxes are both a great way to try out Fancy boxes before you subscribe. (Or just to treat yourself like I did!) I think I may even buy another one or two!

I received my Fancy Womens Box Large and I was very happy with contents. I received a gold shark tooth necklace by Sophie Sparrow ($60), Chunky Knit Infinity Scarf (worth?), a TKO Skeleton Watch ($125-Amazon), and a Square Jellyfish Trip-Pod for smartphone ($15-Amazon). I probably will gift the scarf because I live in SoCal and let’s face it, I don’t need a chunky knit anything down here very often. The watch is super cute, but I am unsure if I will keep or gift because I don’t wear watches since I wear a Nike Fuel band all the time. I do love the necklace and plan to give the tri-pod to my husband since he was just mentioning he wanted one. Overall, the box was fun to open and worth the cost.

I ordered both $10 boxes first and was disappointed in them, so I ordered both a men’s and woman’s $40 box on April 3 and I still haven’t received mine! I checked the tracking on them and for some reason they were shipped to Australia when I live in Alabama!!!! Customer service has been wonderful though at replying and I should get them by next week but the anticipation is killing me! I may have to order more as well after seeing what you received. Thank you so much for posting!

I got two $10 boxes and was a little disappointed in some of the stuff. Ended up with the wall decals. I decided to order the $20 box. I’m excited to see what I get.

I wish they didn’t charge so much for shipping, or atleast would combine shipping on multiple boxes. But after being burned on a men’s and women’s $10 (actually $17) box, I think I’ll stay away for now. The variation between the good and bad boxes was unreasonable. I ended up with one of those dumb decals in both boxes and the hot pink business card holder? No thanks.

Wow, I love the men’s boxes so much more than the women’s! (And I’m a girl.) I would totally want to get one but I’m nervous with my luck they’d toss in something not as gender neutral in my box—like a men’s razor or something, haha.

I know what you mean! I’ve seen great things in every Men’s box I’ve seen reviewed. It seems like they have more awesome Men’s items than women’s items anyway. Even the woman boxes have Man Stuff in them. hello, gin and tonic bath salts? which said they were for a man right on the bottle… That $10 box was TERRIBLE. But I signed up for the $20 even so. 🙂
