Elizabeth & Clarke Clothing Subscription Box Review - April Box

Elizabeth & Clarke is a women’s clothing subscription box – and they specialize in just shirts and tops! They make all their styles in house, and only do a limited amount of new designs each season, so they are able to keep the prices very reasonable.  Each season you get to preview the tops and pick your favorites.

Elizabeth & Clarke kindly sent me this box to review, so while I didn't get to pick my tops, paying subscribers get to!

Elizabeth & Clarke Clothing Subscription Box Review - April Boatneck

Grey Boatneck Tee

I think this is my favorite top in the box. (I'm always impressed with the quality of their blouses, but I never dress up as much as I think I'm going to, so my Elizabeth & Clarke t-shirts get this most use). This top is super soft and shrunk a little when I washed it. I love that it's on the long side too.

FYI - I'm a size large at Forever 21 and Golden Tote, and get a 10 from Elizabeth & Clarke. I'm thinking I could go with an 8, but I prefer my tops to be a little on the looser side.

Black Sleeveless Blouse

I'm always impressed with the quality of Elizabeth & Clarke pieces for the price, and I think if you have a formal workwear job, it's a must-get subscription for the value.

White Long Sleeve Blouse

The blouses and tops tend to be a little long (but I suppose that's better than too short), and you can always tuck them in!

Verdict: I think this is a great subscription for the price - with the $60 a quarter subscription that makes each of these shirts only $20. I've also had no issues with wear and tear on past Elizabeth & Clarke pieces that have been through the laundry quite a few times. I think I'm going to share the blouses in this box with my mom who has to wear formal attire everyday, and keep the tee to myself!

Which pieces did you pick for the Spring box? And what do you think of their upcoming Summer collection?

I wear the grey boat neck tee all the time and love it. Their casual collared shirts run large and I’m still trying to figure a way to change it. Not really looking forward to Summer’s selections.

I could only order Fall, I’m not sure it it was last Fall or this coming Fall as I am entirely unfamiliar with this service. They could do a better job of clarifying that.

But, the shirts I picked out are super cute and can work year round here in land of the A/C, so I’m excited either way.

Thanks for the discount code! I’m looking forward to trying this service out!

I have the grey t shirt & love it. I put the others on ebay, but might keep the lemon if it doesn’t sell. I’m getting the black t-shirt & hopefully the stanton or blackwell.

Was so disappointed by this company. The button ups did not fit my chest size and one of the items was poorly sewn, so I asked to make an exchange. They then claimed that the items (TWO!) were damaged upon return. It could be that they were damaged by the mail system, but that’s out of my control. Their website states “full refund on any item, for any reason, at any time.” Not true, at all. I tried to cancel my account, and they said that the billing date already passed. I would never recommend this company. Poor customer service and poor quality items. You’re better off going to Uniqlo.

This company is a class act. I’ve used other subscription services and have not been NEAR as satisfied as I am with Elizabeth & Clarke. The fabric is great quality and the customer service is excellent. I ordered the exact three shirts above and have been very satisfied. This is my second shipment with them. I’m very excited about my Summer order.

I have tried this subscription but I always end up returning it. I like the quality of materials, but the sizing is a bit off for my body. I also wish there was more choices.

I already wear all three spring tops in the last 2 weeks. The grey tee is my favorite so far. The black and white top is my go-to work wear, plus I never have to worry about ironing. I’m waiting for summer the Truman top. That is one killer look.

Weird, I didn’t have the grey boatneck option last season at all. I would have killed for that shirt!

Wish I could have picked from the spring box rather than summer. I like long tops so I love all the tops that you received. Summer has mostly short tops so I had to pick something that I probably won’t ever wear, but I got mine at a discount so can’t complain too much.

I missed the window for ordering the spring styles, but I placed my first-ever E&C order for the summer styles. I love that everything has a neutral color and can be worn and accessorized to create different looks. The quality seems good, too. I can’t wait until June, when I get my first shipment 🙂

I got the grey boat neck also. I went down a size from previous orders and with my new size it now my favorite t shirt! I’m so happy with it I up my next order to two shirts per quarter.

I am signing up next week, but am only presented with four shirts to pick from. One is the bottom one shown here. I don’t wear ivory so not likely one I’d use. Is there more selection I’m missing somewhere?

But you don’t have to buy 3; they also sell singles and two shirt packages

Erin

Nope. They only have 4-6/season. Usually 4-5.

I love the grey boatneck tee. And because it’s stretchy, it fits on me. The button blouses that I got ended up being too tight across the chest, and I had gotten the largest size they have. So no more shirts from them for me, unless a knit one like the grey boatneck catches my eye in the future.

I had the exact same problem Nicole! Which is too bad because I love the look and quality of the button downs:-/

I like the styles a lot, and it’s wonderful that they’re long, which is my preference, but I never wear neutral tops. (I am really pale and I have black hair so I need a bit of color in my clothing or I look like either a ghost or a Goth!) I’ll keep reading your reviews and check their site every now and then in case they decide to go with more colors in the future.
