Wantable Intimates Subscription Box Review – March 2014

I really like this subscription service. I was really impressed with what I received (turquoise bra, matching lacy panties, tank top, and zebra knee high happy socks). I didn’t really get my hopes up with it because Im an xl size girl and so many things just don’t work for me between my hips and boobs but I was so happy everything fit. I love the bra just as much as my $50 VS ones and the total box amount was $71 retail. Its nice as a mom to feel pretty in what you are wearing underneath sometimes.

I am sick of getting socks and leggings month after month. I decided to cancel this and try another subscription box.

I received my 2nd box and I had really hoped that it would be better than the first one. The first one they replaced a few things great customer care….But it was not any better! Nothing fits! I understand that fashion is geared to the smaller size and maybe they should caution subscribers that the majority of their products are TINY!
I cancelled and gifted the items to my sister who is a size 7 and could wear my “xlarge” selections. I recieved a bandeau lacey turquoise bra with a tag that said “wear to be seen” size large for my selection card that clearly indicated 38DD SIZE 14. I seriously think they were encouraging me to cancel. I could not even get one of the girls in the bra! FAIL!

This month’s box was a huge letdown for me. I mentioned in last month’s review to wantable that I had my eye on the Kiby’s cami/undie set and saw them in numerous reviews, plus a few march boxes, so I was hoping I’d get one (I can’t seem to find them anywhere else!). I saw teal in my box when I opened it (one of the colors of Kiby’s sets)/ I got all excited, only to find out it was just a crew neck shirt. I also got the pink Betsey Johnson’s cami sleep set, which is incredibly unflattering on my figure. It is definitely made for women with a smaller bust, because the cut near the top is so narrow. As soon as I put on the cami, it looked like I was harboring two aliens on my chest. I have a small ribcage as well, so that combination with the cami’s cut distorted my figure entirely. No thanks. I also received an Icy Hot Sweet Dots Hipster, which wasn’t really an exciting design for me. So, the entire box is being returned tomorrow. 🙁 Bummer.

Ordered my first one on Friday and it will be here tomorrow (Monday). Can’t wait!!

I got a cute romper, panty, Happy Socks, and the Ahh Bra.

Really loved almost all mine! The panty I’m just okay with; I think I’ll be removing panties from my likes as I just loaded up at VS.

I definitely wasn’t impressed by mine!! I got three pair of unswear and a pair of shorts (not much diversity huh?). And 2 of the 3 pairs were cuts I had on my dislike list!!! I emailed them and they basically just told me to return the whole thing…even though i wanted to keep the two items I did like 🙁

I got a Betsy Johnson pink sleep set, the blue tights (I marked I didn’t like footless so probably why I got the tights instead of the leggings) and a cute thong! Happy I finally scored on a high value box!!! (It was $90 I believe) I also redo my quiz every month – I’ll probably remove tights since I got them the last two months and maybe add socks back! (Still waiting for a tank top, that was my love item I have yet to get)
