My husband is always happy when Loot Crate includes a t-shirt, and good news, the March box will have a t-shirt too!

Loot Crate Subscription Box Review & Coupon - Feb 2014 Sticker

Bravest Warriors Digital Comic & Sticker - Value $1.99

Loot Crate Subscription Box Review & Coupon - Feb 2014 Toy

Dunny Side Show Figure by Kid Robot - Value $10

This figurine came with attachable wings (?) but I couldn't get them to attach.

Loot Crate Subscription Box Review & Coupon - Feb 2014 Bag

Gas Powered Stick Bag - Value $5?

This is one of those Loot Crate boxes where I feel a little out of the loop on the items included. I'm going to have to do some investigating on Bravest Warriors.

Loot Crate Subscription Box Review & Coupon - Feb 2014 Bowtie

Black Tie Geek Bow Tie - Value $5?

OpenMe Bacon Love Card - Value $2

This Bacon Love card also came with details for Loot Crate subscribers to get a free subscription to OpenMe.

Verdict: Loot Crate and Nerd Block can be hits or misses for us depending on which items/tv shows/ movies/ comics they feature for that month. The February Loot Crate box didn't have many items that were for my husband, but I know he'll wear the shirt, and we may swap some of the other items.

What did you think of the February Loot Crate box?

I’m so upset i didn’t sign up sooner for this crate! Bravest Warriors is awesome and that catbug bowtie is super cute! I would’ve loved receiving this. Does anyone know around what week they usually ship lootcarte and where it ships from?

Loot crate is really hit or miss for us, but I love it! We got our box really early this month (February). I wasn’t too sure what bravest warriors was but I thought the free comic was a good way to clue people in. The shirt alone made this box awesome! Not that excited about next month Titan theme but it may surprise us and be awesome.

Bravest Warrior is a web cartoon made by the creator of Adventure time I believe. It is currently on its 2nd season on youtube. very short episodes, and highly recommend it if you ever want to kill some time. It is about 4 teenager heroes saving cute aliens. I actually swapped for the items in this box because i love it so much.

My husband and I were also confused and had to investigate further on a few of the items. At least my brother wears an occasional bow tie and might get a kick out of that. I liked the figurine as he was purple. I also hope next months is better.

I got this for my boyfriend for Valentines day and the only thing he liked was the shirt. It was more geek than nerd lol! The tie he will never use and he didn’t understand the saying on the backpack.
However I thought I did a gift subscription (Only one month non reoccurring) and I got charged this month. Upon contacting customer service they refuse to refund me even though boxes don’t ship for another 2 weeks and they said they had canceled my subscription and upon checking my account they didn’t. On top of that it takes them days to respond between messages and they don’t have a phone number.

Really wish I had never tried them =/

I wish they had a good gaming loot crate with good customer service. My bf is into online gaming 🙂

Look up NerdBlock it is much more video game based than Loot Crate. I get both boxes, and NerdBlock guarantees a T-shirt every month. Plus their customer service is outstanding. Contact (2) times and both times quickly resolved all issues.

You should contact your credit card company. They should be able to take care of it for you.

I bought my husband 3 months of Loot Crate as a birthday gift & this months box was a bust. He’s more of a comic book, sci-fi nerd and had no idea what the theme of this box even referenced.
I hope next months is better. If not I may order him a Mantry as an “I’m sorry your birthday gift sucked’ gift.

Glad we weren’t the only ones who didn’t get most of this box – Here’s hoping March’s box has more comic book related items for both of our husbands! 🙂
