Ultra Hydration Eye Mask Duo - Value $18.75

It's official - eye mask/patches are trending in subscription boxes!

Le Metier De Beaute Beauty Vault VIP Review – March 2014 Concealer

Peau Vierge Correcteur Concealer - Value $95

My concealer is the medium shade. (It seems like the shad you receive varies box to box). I'm always surprised when boxes send out products that are skin tone specific without asking for your skin tone makeup preferences upfront. This shade is a little dark for me right now, but should work great in the summer.

Verdict: This box cost me $29 and I received over $100 worth of products. I'm excited to try the eye masks, and I know I'll use this concealer up in the summer, so the value is great for me. Do you subscribe to Beauty Vault VIP? What did you think of the March box?

NO concealer is worth $95. None. At all.

La Prairie concealer included in the lid of their caviar foundation is something I’d pay $95 for if it was sold separately. Their foundation and concealer is fantastic for great coverage. Because both come together, it is a perfect match. Definitely pricey though.

I need to get in on this subscription! I hate that it’s only once a year sign up. I’m so jealous of every one you get! Maybe they’ll ask for preferences the next time around.

I was looking forward for this review! I hope they open their subscription again. Although I didnt like this month this box I think this box has great Value. I prefer one good quality and decent size
Item than a bunch of samples of regular products

The concealer has retinol in it and is very good; I’ve purchased it at NM. However, the medium shade is too dark for most people who are fair, light, and even medium. I also received medium and will end up giving it to someone. The eye mask duo is also something I’ve purchased and it is pretty unremarkable in my opinion. I’m in my 50’s, take excellent care of my skin, so perhaps that is why I don’t see any change when using the eye mask duo. This subscription box started off well but has lost my interest since most of the items are colors I’d never use. Wish they’d stick with samples of skin care where color is not a concern.

I am dying to sign up for the kaleidoscope program! I love those things! But I just can’t see spending like $300 and get four seasonal kaleidoscopes…. I know they’re well over $100 each but I only need one… But even still for one I can’t see spending that much…., such a dilemma. I prob would not have been very happy with this box. I’m so fair for one, and I’d like more variation in choices in products…. Bo of these products are not for me.

I found it hard to believe that the concealer cost $95.

That’s what I think too! I’ve never been fancy enough to look at Neiman Marcus makeup before though, lol.

I know – I would never pay $95 for a concealer unless it had some magic photoshop results!
