I got the this box with the same thought about the lip balm got my box awhile ago and the lip balm is not a “balm” it is awful, very drying on the flip side the nail polish was a great shade – but overly not impressed with this box.

THese usually don’t sell out quick…I think I might wait and see what yours looks like before I take the plunge. I would really like the nail lacquer, but the lip gloss? Not so much. Way to many hanging around my place from BB and Ipsy!

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I actually do like bright red lip colors (and don’t have too many of them) and agree that the nail polish looks nice. But I want to see that I’ll like at least 1 or 2 of the surprise items before taking the plunge (even if it means no surprise).

I kind of want to get this, but I feel like I would benefit more if it was customizable to my skin tone, dry skin, etc. I don’t know if I want to pay for a generic surprise box, you know? Do they let you do a profile at all? It sounds like its just this color, or nothing, am I correct?

My experience with Total beauty is that every box is exactly the same as the next–there are no considerations for personal preference or skin coloring or anything. I have to say I’ve been happy with them, but it is a surprise for the items not already shown.

I’m not picking one up this time because of the Cailyn Big Apple. If it were a different color, I would be all over this box. I received Big Apple in an IPSY box a few months ago, and it is way to red/orange for me. It actually made my husband laugh. If you look good in extremely bright lipstick, then this sounds like a great box. But with the Cailyn I can’t use making up 1/3 the value of the box, this is a no-go for me.

Nope! I got that lips tain in an ipsy bag. It was awful! It’s really pigmented but it’s horribly dry. I didn’t like it at all. That Polish does look amazing though!

I just ordered it, ugh you’re killing me with deals 😉 – BUT I do NEED a good red lip color so I figured I’d spend about that much if I picked one up even at CVS I’d spend around $10 so to get a box to try for $21 worth it.
