Coco Rocha Fancy Box Review & Coupon – Jan 2014

I love this box. I think everything is so cute!!!!

I just got mine, it’s the first Fancy box I’ve ordered and I’m pretty disappointed. I live in Los Angeles, it’s really not cold enough for a pair of tech gloves. I love tea, but I’m not a fan of licorice. I guess getting a mystery box is just a risk I shouldn’t take.

My box was exactly the same as yours but I had cream fingerless gloves. I sent them an email asking why the value was less than $80 and I just now got a response back stating that my box was suppose to include the fingerless AND the touch gloves. They are shipping the touch gloves to me separately. You might want to reach out to them regarding your value. 🙂

Hi, I’ve gotten the gloves too, and I’m from Malaysia, weather is always hot here. I got the gloves as in the picture on the card, not the red ones you got there. Guess I can only use them when I travel to colder countries.
By the way, I too didn’t receive the t-shirt that they said they would send in the “next” box. Wondering when are they going to send it.
Still happy with the box since I can’t get most of the items here in the country.

I received an email a few weeks ago asking me to confirm my tshirt size, as there would be a tee included in this month’s Coco box. Did anyone else receive that email? Is it possible that there will be tees shipped separately? That would explain the low value of the items received in this box.

Not sure if you guys are aware but they let you return one item for either a $15 credit or a replacement item if there is something that you don’t like… With that and swapping, its a pretty good deal. I personally loved everything in this box, but usually I always have an item or two that I’m not into…

I’m relieved to see I made the right choice in canceling after Dec (or Nov; hard to tell since their sub runs a month behind). Very confusing set up in general. I agree with others that the claimed value is way overinflated, even for Fancy. A mug, tea bags, a rubber light, and gloves for almost $50?!?! You can buy the mug on Amazon for $6.99 and identical touch screen gloves for $8.99 on eBay. So unless the light and tea are worth a combined total of $64 the box is kind of a ripoff in my opinion. Not at all how they used to be back when this box first began last year when they included things like full Ciate nail polish sets worth $25+ alone. Disappointing.

Oh, I got different gloves! Mine are the ones pictured, fingerless gray with metallic thread. I love them, and I really love this box. I think Coco has the most consistent celeb-curated Fancy box.

This was my first Fancy box and I am very disappointed. I received echo fingerless gloves and I really like them, but I don’t drink tea, the coffee mug is ok and the bag light looks cheap and rubbery. The value wasn’t the $80+ promised even at full value. I e-mailed them and will hopefully get a response soon, I also ordered the regular Fancy box but have not received it yet.
