Verbal Fancy Box Subscription Review – Dec 2013

Two of the most interesting boxes I subscribe to from Fancy are the Pink box and the Verbal box. (It appears as though Pink's Fancy box has been cancelled). For me, I never know exactly what I'll get from the boxes, and I assume that I will likely end up putting an item or two in the gift pile!

Duke Cannon Soap - Value $8

This is a great smelling men's soap, and it's my brother's favorite so this was a great addition to his Christmas gift!

Aiaiai Pipe Earphones - Value $40

These are good quality earbuds and I like the packaging and design a lot. Not sure yet if they'll be a back up pair for me, or a great gift item!

You Suck at Parking Cards - Value $25

These go straight to the gag-gift pile! I also think $25 is a little high for this item. (I get all prices for Fancy subscriptions from Fancy.com).

iFlask - Value $30

Another interesting gag-gift item! I don't think anyone would actually be fooled into thinking this was a phone, but I suppose that's not the point!

It also comes with a bottle opener on the back!

Verdict: The December Verbal Fancy Box was a mixed bag for me, but I sort of expect that with this subscription. The soap and headphones are great quality items, so at least half of this box will go to use, and the other half will make for some interesting gifts! (If you're looking for a mix of practical and fun items, I would recommend this box).
