Tyler Florence Fancy Box Review - Dec 2013 Review

The Tyler Florence Fancy Box is a monthly subscription box curated by Tyler Florence and the Fancy Team. If you're looking for a mix of cooking tools and new ingredients to try, I definitely recommend this box.

(We’ve been subscribers to the Tyler Florence Fancy box since the first month, but this month Fancy offered to send me this box at no cost for review purposes).

Tyler Florence Fancy Box Review - Dec 2013 Jars

Jar Set - Value $16

These jars are so cute. I haven't put them to use yet, but it's probably time to clean out the pantry, so I'm sure they will come in handy!

Tyler Florence Fancy Box Review - Dec 2013 Bottle Box

Sagaform Olive Oli and Vinegar Set - Value $26

This set is easily my favorite item in the box - I absolutely love the design of these bottles.

Plus it makes it so easy to infuse olive oil with herbs and other flavors!

Tyler Florence Fancy Box Review - Dec 2013 Salt

Peel & Stick Chalkboard Labels - Value $11

Tyler Florence California Sea Salt - Value $7

I love it when Tyler includes items from his own line. This salt should hopefully last us through 2014!

Tyler Florence Fancy Box Review - Dec 2013 Sauce

Tyler Florence Simmer Sauce - Value $9

Snow Flake Cookie Cutter - Value $11

Verdict: The December Tyler Florence Fancy Box was a hit for me. I'll use everything except the cookie cutter (gluten-free cookies are too much of a hassle for me to make!). I hope that Tyler Florence continues to include food products from his own line in every box - I love it!

What did you think of the December 2013 Tyler Florence Fancy Box?

Anyone else not get their January Tyler Florence box? Fancy charged me for it and when I call their customer service it just rings and says all operators are busy and asks me to leave a message…. What’s going on?

I followed up with Fancy about that yesterday, and all I know is that the January Tyler Florence box hasn’t shipped yet.

I heard back from fancy box. The box had glass items in it and when they received them many were broken. Should get box shipped out in next week or so.

Tie a pretty ribbon on the cookie cutter and use it as a Christmas ornament on your tree next year.

There’s lots of ways to use the cookie cutter besides its intended purposes! Lately I’ve been using mine as jello and ice cube molds. =] That one is just too cute not to use.

What a great box. If I only knew. Am crying lol! I guess the next box is in May?
Some boxes charge right when you subscribe which I wasn’t happy about. I’m used to getting charged when shipped. Can anyone tell me if I subscribed now would I be charged when shipped or now? Thanks

It’s a monthly box so there should be a box shipping out in January? Not sure when the cutoff is to order, I never seem to navigate Fancy’s site well, but I got my December box around the 21st.

I almost subscribed to this box for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I am kicking myself now for not getting it! This is an amazing box!

The cookie-cutter can be used with play-doh or glittered up and used as a Christmas Tree ornemant.

This box looks really great! I love the oil/vinegar set.

I have liked this subscription. I like the mix of practical items, his line of sauces/rubs/salts, and something you didn’t know you wanted until you have it. That’s what a subscription box should be.

Same here, my first box and SO glad I got it! I was a little nervous after some people felt like the December Fancy boxes cheaped out a bit because of the BF coupon, but wasn’t disappointed at all.

My favorite was the vinegar and oil set, it looked great and I don’t have a set right now.

Oh and the jars ended up kind of perfect – I had opened a Christmas gift earlier that included exactly 6 baggies full of spices and was wondering how I was going to store them. The jars were the perfect size and amount. 🙂

This was my 1st box and I absouletely loved it! I gave the pot roast sauce to my in-laws since I don’t eat red meat. Everything else will be used! 😉
