TravelBox is a brand new subscription that just launched. They send you travel goods from around the world - items like souvenirs, local food products, travel accessories, etc.

The Products: Each Travelbox will contain a combination of 4-5 premium travel, food, beauty and lifestyle items that could include:

travel inspiration: e.g. foreign language tools, maps, books on traveling
travel gear: e.g. foldable water bottles, portable phone chargers
travel comforts: e.g. sleep masks, ear plugs, travel candles, travel pillows
grooming & beauty products: e.g. locally milled soaps, premium skin care products, portable sunscreen
travel snacks: e.g. premium artisan chocolates and snacks from around the world

Does anyone know what happened to TravelBox? This was one of my favorite boxes and it just stopped with no notice. I tried to email them with no answer. Such a bummer, the first couple boxes were great!

Interested, but curious how it will stack up against Escape Monthly which is on my Wish List for next year. Looking forward to some reviews!

I think in writing to Diane at Travel box and reading on their website that they want to go beyond a box with snacks and beauty creams. They want people to experience traveling to the places they choose that month. Not that there might not be something like that from the place they choose, but it is more to read and explore and experience traveling.

I just joined this sub box. And am looking forward to what the Travel Box people have in store for its members! I love to travel and enjoy learning about the places I visit as well as other areas of the world, so I look forward to digging into the information given and the other tastes of the countries they send! Think it could be awesome! We will see, but thought I would give them the chance and at $10 off for the first box it wasn’t overwhelming to try!

How does it compare to Escape Monthly? Like, that one seems to be more destination specific, but this one is more of a mixed bag each month?

I’m very intrigued, and would love to try it – but my sub box budget is maxed out at the moment :-/ I’ll add it to the “someday” list – thanks for writing about Travelbox!
