Gama Go Cool Pop Spatula - Value $12

One Sweet Cookie - Value $30

This cookie recipe book is beautiful, and it has recipes from some of New York's best chefs. I rarely bake, so I think I'm going to gift this book!

Archipelago Botanicals Soy Creme Milk - Value $18

The outer packaging of this hand creme got a little damaged in shipping, but the tube is fine so no complaints here! This hand creme has an amazing scent, and I love that it's paraben-free!

Steep Up To The Plate Teabag Rest - Value $10

I think this is my favorite item in the box! It's so cute, and I have just switched from coffee to tea, so I will use this everyday!

French Macaron Trinket Box - Value $14

I've never used a trinket box before, but this one is so cute, I may need to start storing my rings in it!

Verdict: I paid $39 plus $7.95 shipping for the October Jennifer Love Hewitt Fancy Box, and received $84 worth of products (original retail value). I think this month's box is especially feminine and cute, and I love it!

What do you think of the October box?

Aw! This box is great! I’ve always been undecided between this box or the Coco Rocha box — I ended up going for the Coco Rocha, but this box (and the spoilers I’ve been seeing for the Coco one) have made me sad I didn’t get the JLH one this month instead! =/

Wow! Very cute box, I love everything in it. I just cancelled my Coco Rocha Fancy Box a few days ago. This month was a total bust for me. I wish I had gotten this one instead!

I’ve been following your blog for a while and I love it, however your evaluation on the fancy boxes are way off. I didnt a quick search of the October products and I can get everything on Amazon/Urban Outfitters for $63.96 including tax&shipping.

Fancy box actually has a website for the prices on the cards of the products. So I’m guessing that’s where the prices are coming from.

yea the prices are usually MSRP prices.. sometimes when you look on amazon or urban they are discounted heavily because they are trying to liquidate bulk inventory…

Good point – I updated the review to include that my value tally is based on original retail price!
