Beauty Box 5 Review - November 2013

Beauty Box 5 is a monthly beauty and makeup subscription box. It's also one of the cheapest beauty subscription boxes - only $8.25 a month with an annual subscription. (I'm currently on the $30 for 3 months plan, but I should probably upgrade soon!)

Beauty Box 5 Review - November 2013

Be A Bombshell Cosmetics Eye Crayon in Angel Eyes - FULL SIZE! Value $14

Bellapierre Glitter Pot in Ruby - FULL SIZE! Value $14.99

This red glitter is a little bold for me - I may try it for a glitter nail polish top coat though.

Secret Clinical Strength Deodorant - Value $8.49

AND a coupon for another free Secret Clinical Strength Deodorant - Value $8.49

At first I wasn't too excited about seeing deodorant in the box, but I'm pretty impressed that they sent a clinical strength deodorant and a coupon for another one free!

Beauty Box 5 Review - November 2013

Aveeno Positively Nourishing Calming Body Wash - 2 oz Value $1

Montagne Jeunesse Glacial Clay Spa Mask - Value $2

Verdict: This month's Beauty Box 5 had an amazing value! I paid $10 for this box, and received about $50 worth of beauty and makeup products! I think I'll use everything in this box too, so I'm happy with the curation.

What did you think of the November Beauty Box 5 box?

The eye crayon looks quite lovely. If my box doesn’t include one, I think that’s something I may end up buying! Can’t wait for my first BB5 in the mail. 🙂

Lip crayon is very nice to highlight inner corners of the eyes. The white eye shadow is kind of a light iridescent violet and its beautiful. Powderless oil blotting papers work nicely. I’m saving the body wash sample for travel. The mask is odd. Overall, very nice box especially considering the price.

This was my first BB5 box and I am bummed about not getting the Be a Bombshell eye crayon!! I got a lip moisturizer instead. Anyone else get something different?

I ended up getting the b.a.b.s. eye crayon which was really good but ended up with oil blotting papers valued at $2.99 instead of the antiperspirant (no coupons either). Kinda disappointing.

I got the eye shadow instead of the lip balm and oil blotting papers for face instead of the antiperspirant which I wasn’t exactly thrilled about.

I never thought I would be so excited about deodorant, haha! I am however bored to death with the constant supply of Be A Bombshell in subscription boxes. Not that I don’t love cosmetics that are made in China (eh) but something new, please!

I canceled after the aveeno and bella spoilers. The clinical deodorant is an amazing value though! I am trying to switch over to natural, but before that my favorite was Dove clinical.
