Wantable Makeup Box Review - October 2013

I recently updated my Wantable profile to get more specific with the items I didn't want anymore (AKA - I have enough eyeliners to last a lifetime). I'm happy with the results in this box, but I think I may go tweak my profile before the next box ships!

If you are new to Wantable, it's a highly customizable full-size makeup subscription. It's pricer than most beauty boxes ($36), but the value has always been great for me, and I love that you can make sure you only get products you want!

Wantable Makeup Box Review - October 2013

The Subscription Box: Wantable Makeup Subscription

The Cost: $36 a month (one time only purchase available for $40)

The Products: Makeup products based on your profile settings.

Ships to: US, Canada (additional $5) and Australia (additional $9)

Wantable Makeup Box Review - October 2013

Cailyn Gelux Eyebrow in Cocoa - Value $22

I had specified in my Wantable account that I no longer wanted eyeliner pencils, but I did want eyebrow pencils - and Wantable delivered! I love the Cailyn eyeliners I already have, and both the eyeliners and eye brow powders are free of parabens, phthalates, and other harmful ingredients!

Michael Marcus Brunette Eye Brow Pencil - Value $24

Lise Watier Feline Mascara HD - Value $23

I would have preferred to only get one brow product in this box, but I think I eliminated so many categories in my Wantable profile, that I had to get some duplicate category items! At least one is a pencil and one is a powder!

Lise Waiter Eye Shadow Sample

Lise Watier Nail Lacquer - Value $13

I love the color of this creme grey nail polish!

Nail File - Value $3

Verdict: I paid $36 for this box and received over $80 worth of makeup products. I'm already loving my Cailyn eyebrow powder (it looks nice next to my growing Cailyn eyeliner collection), and I'm excited to try everything else!

What did you get in your October Wantable Makeup box?

Does Wantable offer a discount if you want to subscribe to more than one type of box each month? I would really like the intimates and the makeup. Just seeing if that was something they offered. Thank you!

No, unfortunately they don’t offer any discounts for multiple subscriptions. Sorry!

FYI – I put the Intimates Box in my shopping bag and then went to bed without completing the order and I got an email this am offering me 10% off!

I wonder if it would be possible to say you hate everything except one type of product (like stuff for nails) and get the whole box as only that product (nail polish and accessories).

I think you would have to cancel then sign up for intimates, but I recommend reaching out to their customer care. (My experience with the customer care has been excellent).

I also received the Cailyn gelux and I absolutely love it! I was using a benefit product before but haven’t touched it since I received my Wantable box a week ago
