Julep Lip Gloss in Daring – Value $22

Julep Lip Gloss in Charming – Value $22

I like this lip gloss but I don’t love it. Here’s what I like: 1) It’s paraben and sulfate free, and each shade has the right amount of color and shine in my opinion.

The only thing I don’t love (and I’m extremely picky when it comes to lipgloss), is that it’s just a bit too sticky for my liking. It’s not super sticky by any means, so I’m going to use all the shades, but I probably won’t buy it again.

Julep Blank Canvas Lip Primer – Value $22?

Julep Lip Gloss in Timeless – Value $22

I think Timeless may be my favorite shade in the bunch – I love combining lip stain with a shimmery clear lip gloss!

Each month Julep includes a little bonus surprise gift. (Past gifts have included: lip balm, hair pins, and candy). This serum sample didn’t feel up to the same level of the previous surprise gifts, but I’m very happy with this box – so no complaints!

Verdict: I love the colors of the nail polishes and lip glosses this month, so I’m very happy with my November Julep Maven Box. Which options did you get this month? What do you think of the lip gloss?

  1. Is there another coupon code for November if u used ur freebox for ur first order last month? Thanks. Love ur site!

  2. I also upgraded to the ultimate collection and received my box this week. I love all of the nail colors! They are spot on with the fall season and that touch of home comfort. All the colors are more subtle with only one or two shimmers; a stark contrast compared to the brights, pastels, and glitters of summer and spring. The only color with glitter in my box was the bright crimsons of the Autumn add on I ordered and I am so looking forward to dressing up my polishes with that! The lip gloss was a little sticky, but it does the color does stay for awhile on my lips (which is really good). I’ve had other lip glosses that were so sticky, they just irritated me. Julep’s glosses doesn’t do that to me and I like wearing them. Posh is just so pretty! I love the black honey color. Looking forward to the Nov 20th for the Holiday Maven selection! So excited!

  3. While I am usually a “bombshell” I went with the Boho this month because I preferred (of all things) the lipgloss color. I had some points so I worked in some of the fall selections too and was very happy to beef up my fall nail colors (but sad to give up my mints and corals of summer). I like the lip gloss because it stays put. I agree that it is a bit sticky but I have also noticed that my lips are much improved as of late. Love, love, love your blog…especially since I have an obsession with “of the month” clubs when it comes to scrapbooking. Thanks so much! xoxoxo

  4. I received the red and nail polish and other with gold sparkles which I will use for as stocking stuffers gifts. The lip-gloss “glowing” is a nice pink color with a sugar scent. I received the full size serum last month, so I will give it my mom to try.

  5. I got the Boho Glam, the white colour looks hideous on my nails, lol. The wine coloured one is beautiful though. I agree with you, lipgloss is too sticky.

  6. I also upgraded to the ultimate box. I got mine today as well and I loved it! So many new colors, I don’t know which one to try first. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  7. this box looks great except that gift!

  8. Wow this box looks great (: the lip glosses look great (:

  9. I was soo looking forward to a swatch of the lipgloss. I wish Julep came out of their shell and do amazing glitter polishes like some of the Indie brands do. Even some holos, something!!
