Georgia Crafted Review - Local Subscription Box

One of my favorite new trends in subscription boxes this year is the local movement. It's a great way to get a box of goodies from your hometown/state, or a fun way to discover new products you wouldn't come across otherwise. Georgia Crafted is the latest box to join this local box category - every month they send you a box of goodies crafted in Georgia!

Georgia Crafted kindly sent me their inaugural box to review!

Georgia Crafted Review - Local Subscription Box

Merrilily Gardens Honey Kissed Pumpkin Butter - Value $6.50

Edibelles Savannah Fare Southern Praline Snackin' Mix - Value $5

Yum - I love Pumpkin Butter (and all things pumpkin). This Honey Kissed version is delicious!

Georgia Crafted Review - Local Subscription Box

Yacht Rock Revue CD - Value $5

Carson Bryce Trading Company Atlanta's Finest White Peach-Vanilla Soap - Value $7

I love that this soap is made with organic ingredients and coconut oil! (It smells amazing too!)

Verdict: This box was definitely a mini-trip to Georgia - everything in this box was new to me, and so far I've loved everything I've sampled. (I'm sure my husband is going to love the Southern Praline Snackin' Mix too).  The value of this box was about $24 and it cost $8.75 to ship (this box costs $29.99 a month with free shipping), so I think it's a fair deal to try out independent Georgia companies!

What do you think of Georgia Crafted?

I have been looking so forward to getting the box from
Georgia Crafted for a while now. I received the box the other day and was so excited to open it. When I opened it, the pumpkin butter had broken and leaked all over everything. Something that couldn’t be helped by Georgia Crafted, it just happened! I did have butter all over the place and was rather upset when I wrote a post explaining about it all. I also did not give Georgia Crafted very much time to respond to how they could help me through this. Amanda and
Chilly beans, please understand that this is a good company and Erin from the company wrote me back after I had written the post and said they would replace everything. And they are. They have been more than gracious in taking care,of everything and I want you all to know at I have NEVER had as great customer service as they have given me the last 2 days!!! And I mean that. They are a new company and need our support and to be given e chance to get going. Please do not let what happened to the box deter you at all from subscribing to this company. I personally plan on being with them quite awhile. I have to say that the praline snacks I received in the box.(they were in another box which was covered in butter but also had a sealed foiled bag) were awesome! I would appreciate if you gave them a chance. I apologize for being in so much a hurry and not giving them the opportunity to respond more fully to me. Nancy

Unfortunately Nancy experienced a shipping issue that we quickly resolved. Out of all the boxes we shipped, it appears as though hers was the only one that was damaged. We will ALWAYS do what we am to make our customers happy and resolve all issues once we have a full understanding as to what had happened. We strive in offering the best customer service.

Oh wow this is an excellent idea! That pumpkin butter sounds to die for! I wonder if there are any local MA companies doing something similar!

WOW….I’m from Georgia and live in Florida. I was very excited about this box and being able to get a little piece of “home” every month (and of course with about 16 boxes every month, I have a little addiction…lol) but I was waiting to check out the first box and most of all the customer service….If this is how they treat their customers I definitely will NOT be signing up!! Your credit card company will take of you….take photos and show them so they will reverse the charges! Good Luck!!!

Hi Amanda,

Rest assure that we quickly resolved Nancy’s issue. Unfortunately she experienced an issue with the pumpkin butter getting damaged in transit and it ruined many of the products inside the box.

Nancy will be receiving a complimentary box for the inconvenience.

I truly hope her review does not sway you from checking us out.

Please email me if you have any questions.

Thank you.

Nancy, if Georgia Crafted doesn’t make it right (take pictures of the damaged box) call your credit card company. You do not have to pay for anything damaged.
