Thanks to Whimsey Box and Project DIY, I've really gotten into craft subscription boxes. I decided it was time to sign up for For The Makers and give it a try!

The Box: For The Makers
The Cost: $29 a month
The Products: The materials and instructions needed to make 4 projects every month.
Check out the Craft Subscription Box Directory to see other similar boxes!

For The Makers comes with a card detailing each project and the materials included to make those projects. The step-by-step instructions are available at the tutorial section of their site.

A first look at all the materials included in the box. Now on to the individual projects:

This turned out to be my favorite project in the box. I have bought a few bracelets in this style, and had no idea how easy they are to make on my own!

This necklace came with clasp pieces, but since the style is so long, I didn't see the point of adding a clasp in the back when it goes easily over your head.

These were pretty simple to put together. For The Makers says you need jewelry pliers or strong fingers to make these. I say definitely stick to the pliers!
(I decided to keep these earrings short instead of doing the three tiered approach).

Confession: I didn't make this. It didn't seem like something I would use for my phone, and hand sewing it seemed like a lot of work for something I wouldn't use! Here's a picture from For The Makers of the finished product:

Verdict: This was another fun DIY box for me! I was happy with the quality of the materials for the jewelry pieces, and can't wait to wear my new bracelet all the time! I definitely recommend getting jewelry tools if you don't have them already though - they seem necessary for this box!
