SPOILER ALERT!!! I just received my Dec Coco Rocha box and it’s a complete failure. I can’t believe I paid almost $50 including shipping for a pair of thin socks, a photo book, a candle in a mason jar, a tiny wooden trinket box so small it won’t hold my engagement or wedding rings, and green nail polish. That was it. No way on earth was this worth the actual $40 I paid. I cancelled as soon as I finished opening the box. It’s just not worth the price to keep hoping the next month will be better. For me this was an epic fail.

I agree! I see so many reviews and I was starting to feel like I was the only one who didn’t like it. I thought maybe I just had too high of hopes for it. But before I subscribed I did research on past boxes and there are so many things I would have loved. It isn’t that I don’t like socks, they just aren’t worth the money- I can get socks anywhere, they are just socks. I love the element of surprise but sometimes people seem to act like these things are free! I paid for that stuff, and I’m thinking of just returning for a credit.

I have canceld my subscription. Its not worth the money. But they make a lot of money because we people are so easy to fool! I only got the box once in Oct. I thought straight away that it was just a waist of money.
Cancel! Buy something nice instead : )

Hey again. I used the Chalkboard Manicure set last night. Here is my review. I own some Ciaté polishes. I love Mistress. It’s a bright, cherry red. that I wear season after season and never get tired of it’s a superstar nail polish. That being said. *sigh* I also own the Ciaté Velvet Tuxedo Manicure Set already which is HORRIBLE. The worst! The velvet fell off the next day. It was really pretty on the nails while it lasted. When I opened my September box and saw this Chalkboard set, I was worried but thought I would give it a try. The base coat goes on smoothly but the chalkboard polish does not. It goes on rough. My end result wasn’t terrible but it didn’t even last an entire day. I had to remove the rest of my chipped manicure before noon. 🙁 Thumbs down Ciaté!

I have been eying those tangle teezers for a while. They are suppose to be great for fine hair that tangles easily (duh!). They are always marketed as being for kids, but I want one for myself. Was it effective as a brush?

I have very fine but thick long hair. It tangles like crazy. I have the Tangle Teezer and it does work, especially on wet hair. I think I paid almost $20 for mine. Anyway, the brush is effective but it of course is not a miracle worker yet it is my go to for those uh-oh twisted knots that I get. Keep in mind the shape of the brush takes a little getting used to.

I actually wish they would stop sending Ciate nail polish stuff…lol. I’m a classic creme polish type of girl and I’m probably one of the few who hates the textured/nail art trend this year! Oh well, hopefully I can use them to trade for items I actually want on Facebook.
