The Bauble Bar Monthly Makeover box is one of my newest monthly box discoveries. It's a little different than a typical subscription: each month Bauble Bar releases a new Monthly Makeover box for a limited time. You get to pick out the main jewelry piece color, and everything else is a surprise!

The Products: Each box will include the pictured Bezel Strand (Retail: $38) and for an extra $6 get a package full of goodies, including TWO extra BaubleBar pieces to build a look (plus keep your eyes peeled for a super fun surprise from our team). The full selection can have a retail value of up to $75!
Purple Bijou Gem Strand - Value $38
This was the featured item in the box this month. They had lots of different colors available, and I decided to go with this purple since the deep jewel-tone is perfect for fall and holiday parties! Now on to the mystery pieces:
Buckle Bangle - Value $28
This is actually a working buckle! I'm not a big bangle person though, so I'll be passing along this piece to someone who can get a lot of use out of it!
Purple Earrings - Value $24
I like how these go with the necklace without being a perfect match.
Put a Bauble On It Notepad - Value $15
This notepad is surprisingly well-made for a bonus item. I will definitely get use out of it, but I hope for September they go back to beauty and/or fashion accessories for the bonus non-jewelry item! (Check out my review of the July Makeover box).
Verdict: I really liked the main necklace they were featuring this month, and since the necklace alone was $38, paying $6 more for two mystery jewelry items and a bonus gift seemed like a no-brainer. I'm definitely happy with the value of this box - and I'll use everything with the exception of the bangle. Did you sign up for the August Monthly Makeover box? What were your mystery items?
