Julep Mystery Box Review - May 2013 - Nail Polish Boxes

I'm alway so impressed with Julep's speedy shipping time on these mystery boxes. The Hooray For May Mystery Box is still available if you are interested (but will probably sell out within the next day).

Julep Mystery Box Review - May 2013 - Nail Polish Boxes

The Box: Julep Mystery Box

The Cost: $24.99 (Free shipping if you are a Julep Maven!)

The Products: $70-$200 worth of polish and product.

Julep Nail Color in Grace - Value $14

Julep Nail Color in Vanessa - Value $14

Julep Nail Color in Sharon - Value $14

Julep Nail Color in Avery - Value $14

Julep Nail Color in Charlie - Value $14

I think my favorite color in the bunch is Charlie - it has a nice summer sunshine vibe! I really like all these colors, I just think Sharon is a little too fall/wintery to be wearing anytime soon.

Julep Nail Color in Alice - Value $14

This nail polish was packaged separately with a bag and a note so you could share Julep with a friend. I like the idea, I will definitely be sharing my duplicate colors!

Verdict: I would have loved to see some beauty products in this box - I've gotten so used to a mix of Julep products from past mystery boxes! Still, I'm very happy with this box. I paid $24.99 for this box and received $84 worth of nail polish. That works out to a little over $4 a bottle - not bad! What did you get in your Julep Mystery Box?

I got the box too with a somewhat different assortment of colors. Did you notice Charlie is SCENTED? It smells just like a green apple jolly rancher!

I recieved box #6 and was very pleased with the colors I recieved. This was my first mystery box from Julep and I really liked it. Looking forward to the Nautical themed June box but I honestly enjoy mystery boxes the most!!

I got version #1 too but was happy it was all polish. I just started subscribing so it was nice to get a bunch new colors to add to my collection. I probably won’t order again though as I’m sure I’ll be swimming in polish soon enough.

I loved this box although I would have liked one thing other than polish I was very happy with the amount I got for $25. My BFF color was a pretty peach which I used immediately because I’m selfish haha. Then I also got a pretty lilac, vibrant green, summer orange, chunky black glitter and one or two others I can’t even remember. They will all come in handy though no pun intended. Very pleased and I can’t wait for another mystery box.

I got version #1:
Annette- a light taupey color (super neutral)
Amelia- a pale yellowish tan with shimmer
Dakota- shimmery copper
Korin- lime green
Chelsea- sparkly purpley-pink
Jackie- classic red

I didn’t get any extras either! Not even a nail file, lol! Overall I was happy with my box. Korin is probably my fave of the bunch, but I already have a color almost exactly like it(“Radium” by Illumasqua), so I’ll probably gift that one.

I didn’t get Amy’s

I skipped the May mystery box. It’s so tempting but I always find myself disappointed with the boxes and vow to never buy another one and then I always do. I managed to resist temptation this time and I’m happy I did. I wish they would bring back the option to have a product mystery box or a polish mystery box.

I actually received the exact same box as you did! I was very happy with mine as well. I purchased another one as a potential gift, but I’m curious to see what colors that box will have!
