I want to love Julep but I just cannot get Julep polishes to have the staying power of Essie – which is super sad bc I LOVE the colors, but then I get some frustrated 🙁 Skipping this month, debating if I should just cancel (keep trying to find that base/top coat combo that makes it stay on!)

Creative Nail Design “Stickey” Base Coat and Essie “Good To Go” Top Coat! For me it makes Julep last for at least 2 weeks. Not as long on fingernails as toes but still, it works quite well. The key is to make sure your polish is dry before you put the top coat and it will be dry hard-to-the-touch in less than five minutes 🙂

I switched to Bombshell, because I already have very similar colors to the ones for Boho Glam(my default), and added on Char. Love those bold colors!
I’m excited to try the DD cream too. I use the Garnier BB cream sometimes, and I like it, so I’m curious to see what Julep has come up with.
Kind of wanted to add on that brush too, but I’m cheap, and I wanted the navy blue polish more.

Ya know, I just can’t get excited for these DD cremes, even though I really want to. I subscribe to other boxes for beauty stuff, I subscribe to Julep for nail polish and related items. Not sure what to do this month.

This was a hard choice for me! I didn’t have the money to upgrade, definitely wanted to try the BB Cream so I ended up going with the Boho Glam because I need that Dianna color. My add on was Char from the ItGirl set. Almost got Bunny too. Shoot, I may have to add that LOL

They picture the make-up brushes on the promo for the full set, is the make-up brush included in the full upgrade?!

Doesnt look like it. This is the quote about the full upgrade from the website: “Upgrade to get all nine gorgeous polishes, DD Crème and DD Concealer—a $194 value.”
It doesn’t say anything about the brush. It is an add on though for 19.99

I can’t justify upgrading since I did last month. However I really want the concealer because I’m kind of obsessed with finding the perfect one. But I’m also really, really cheap. With the concealer being +20$ and Bunny being 5$ , that would already be only ten dollars short of getting the whole collection which is incredibly ridiculous! SO, this month I’m getting Modern Beauty (concealer and DD) plus Bunny which is only five dollars and even if I add on both the colors from Boho Glam, it’s still cheaper than getting BH plus Bunny plus Concealer. Getting the best deal always makes me super happy 🙂 I love the Nantucket Red and already have plenty of yellows so I’ll probably go with the Seafoam and Nan. If anyone would like to steal this idea, feel free!

I’m getting my default, the Modern Beauty box and adding on Payton and Bunny. The other colors don’t interest me that much. I feel as though I’ve seen them a million times.
