I really wish I got your box or at least similar colors. I got box version 8 and I don’t really like any of the colors at all. The colors I got were Leah, Janel, Dakota, and Sadie – Sea Salt. They are all dark like fall colors and I don’t think I’ll be using them any time soon. =/

I got box #2 which contained the separators, file, pomegranate body cream and Sadie, Gunta, Meryl, and Lauren. I was happy that I didn’t get any dupes this time and I actually like the colors. Plus it was a nice surprise to get the sea salt color I wanted. The body cream smells very cheap and artificial though.

I wasn’t thrilled with mine at all. Here’s what I got:
Julep Sea Salt Mystery Box #7:

Jill – Smokey Beige (Sea Salt)
Viola – Super dark purple/almost black (Cream)
Claudette – Brick Red (Cream)
Sarah – Pinkish coral with iridescent glitter (Sheer/Jelly)
Rock Star Hand Cream
Nail file and toe separators

Jill is the sea salt that I was hoping I wouldn’t get. I guess, on the plus side, I can say that I don’t own any other textured polishes in this color. Where as I have a black Pixie Dust and a light pink Liquid Sand (the new collection)

Claudette is not my style at all. I’m not big on reds, and this particular shade is what I would call a “granny polish”.

Viola I’m OK with. I do use a lot of blacks and vampy colors in the winter. So it will just have to collect dust for now.

Sarah is a color that I DO like. However, I just got Sarah in my Spring Mystery box! If they just gave it out in the Spring box, why are they doing in this one already? C’mon Julep, mix it up a bit!

The hand creme is fine, although I would of preferred the Age Defying Hand brightener, since I am starting to get some signs of aging on my hands.

All in all, I’d give my box a 3 out of 10. I just don’t like the colors, I’m disappointed to get a dupe so soon, and I was expecting it to be better.

I got this box, too. I really disappointed because the Rock Star hand creme was what I got in my first Julep box (and it was pretty recent!). I would have loved to get the hand brightener or grapefruit body creme. I feel like if they debuted a product recently, most of us JUST received it, and don’t want another one right away. Like you said, “C’mon Julep, mix it up a bit!” I never seem to have any luck any mystery boxes from any company, but I keep trying, haha! Someday maybe I’ll get one I like! ($$$$$$$$ later……)

I got the box with Sadie (black color) and the pomegranate cream. It also came with 3 other polishes (all of which I have). Plus the toe things and emery board. I think it was the worst of the boxes from what I’ve seen, but you can’t win them all! I like your box 100 times more. Bummer.

I got the same box as you. Can’t wait to see what they offer this weekend.

Just unboxed a few minutes ago! Yay! I got box version 11, all of the Sea Salt polishes, 5 additional polishes, body scrub, body crème, Moroccan oil, Hand Brightener. I’m very pleased, ordered another box a few days ago for Mother’s day gifts. Thank you for your blog, it’s the Best!

Where do you find out what the box version numbers are?

It will be on your invoice when you get your box.

I can’t wait to try the sea salt polish! I think it’ll be similar to OPI’s Liquid Sand, which I love!

They’re not though 🙁 I thought they would be too. I have all of OPI’s Liquid Sands & Zoya’s Pixie Dust because I love the texture/glitter/matte combo.
But Julep’s Sea Salt is similar to China Glaze’s Texture and Milani’s Texture Cream. The only one that has glitter is Sadie.

That box did arrive super quick! I ordered two this month because of mother’s day and some birthdays. I figured I could gift some things. I haven’t received them yet but will be sure to post a review when I do!
