Julep Spring Mystery Box - Reveal + Review

A week ago, Julep offered their Spring Mystery Box for $25 - I couldn't resist! Sadly, no diamond earrings in this box, but I'm still pretty pleased with what I received. (This box is no longer available, but a new one comes up every month or so and I always post when it's live!).

I'm guessing the Camille color is the nail polish they promised would go with everything?

Verdict: I'm happy with this box because I usually get colors I already own in mystery boxes, but I lucked out this time! I would have liked if this box included a manicure/pedicure/beauty product too, but I can't complain too much. My only real issue with this box is that Julep said the minimum value would be $70, and I can't see how three hair ties, a nail file and one nail polish remover pad = $14? What did you get in your Spring Mystery box? Were you happy with the value?

Got my box today. Box #3 but it had the mascara in it. This is my first mystery box and I’m not thrilled. I’m tired of these stupid hair hands in sub boxes…there are girls in the world with hair too short for hair bands! I don’t love the colors either. Oh well.

I received Box # 1. It had a remover pad, nail file, Julep Daily Defense, hair bands, 3 polishes (Ashley, Camille, Lauren) and three pieces of easter candy.

I got box #1 as well. This was my first mystery box, but it definitely won’t be my last. 🙂

I didn’t order a mystery box this time, but I will say – last time I ordered one they “forgot” something (it didn’t have the guaranteed value) and their customer service was great.

I bought 2 mystery boxes! The first one was the same as this one you have pictured (with different colored nail polishes). My second box had 8(!) nail polishes, a jar (full size) of Body Frosting in Pink Grapefruit scent, a bottle (full size) of Hand Brightener lotion, a small bottle of cuticle oil, plus the same hair ties and nail polish remover pad included in the other box. I was SO very pleased with this box! I’ll admit, I was a bit disappointed when I opened my first box, as it was not much different in value than a typical monthly box from Julep. But when I opened this second box, I was immediately SO happy that I purchased more than one!
Also, only 2 of those nail polish colors overlapped between the 2 boxes!

I got the same extras, Camille polish, Sarah polish, Sienna polish, and a Rock Candy Nail Glaze in Marie, as well as a Pomegranate body scrub. No diamonds here either. 😛

I was jealous of your extra color… then I realized that was all you got. I feel like mystery box QC should be above and beyond. Because you wouldn’t necessarily know that you were missing something!

Don’t feel bad! I haven’t gotten mine either…the tracking says it’ll still be a couple of days!

I got that same box, and it’s supposed to have an American Beauty mascara included. Contact Julep and I’m sure they’ll send you one.
