Fancy Box Review – March 2013 – Monthly Subscription Boxes

Sigh… I am still waiting for this box (paid March 20). My guess is that I paid after the cut off for March shipment. I’ve ordered several of the Fancy boxes and they all seem delayed a really long time.

This box was okay. My items were the same as Em, but I wished I got the “Don’t fucking procrastinate” mug and the black NYC shirt instead…I’m not sure why I would need a citrus zinger. Can’t you put fruit or cucumbers in a regular water bottle and it will do the same purpose? Guess I will have to try it first. I’m also hearing impaired, so the alarm clock is worthless to me. I need a bed shaker to wake up in the morning, but I guess this is my fault for not thinking about asking to exclude such an item. I listen to music and have an Ipod. It’s just alarms clocks I have an issue with.

Yeah, my box was like the previous posters’ boxes. My shirt was to London though. I got pretty excited about the citrus zinger. The desk dust bin thing . . . well, OK. I’ve always laughed at those alarm clocks, so it’s kind of cool that I have one now.

I switched my categories from Women, Home and Gadgets to Women, Workspace and Gadgets. I’m not sure it made a difference though.

Fancy remains my favorite subscription box. And this was the first month I didn’t have to email customer service halfway through the next month and ask about my missing box from the month before, if that made sense, LOL. They keep forgetting about me.

Unfortunately I feel as though I’m going to cancel the subscriptions all together. Considering we pay for our shipping my trouble with the Fancy is I should never have to wait 2 months for anything to ship. There aren’t excuses for that. I ordered one celeb box February 7 its April 1 I don’t want the box at all at this point. The boxes as they claim if you order before the 15th you get it the same month after the 15th you get it the following month. I’ve been charged for two months and I’m not waiting around to be charged for a third when I haven’t received the first.

Theyve taken on waaay more than they can handle at this point.

I waited until I received my Fancy box today to read your review, but you got different items from me anyway. 🙂

I was pretty disappointed in last month’s box as I felt I could have purchased all the items at Target, and they were not ‘Fancy”.
I was happier with this month’s box.

I also got the t-shirt but mine is to DeGaulle not JFK. It came in a Mens XL which is not even close, but I think I will keep it for sleeping in! I lov a vintage/tissue weight t!

I got the clock, but will have to contact customer service-snooze button doesn’t work and it only rolls when you set it to ‘the game’ as the instructions call it. I wouldn’t use it but will regift to someone with a teenager or something! It’s funny and hella LOUD.

I also received the citruszinger water bottle, which is really cool and I had fancied it so, yay! And the mini ‘crumb casket’ which is the dust bin item. Good for your car or desk. Finally a $10 gift card for an online store.

Though this is the least amount of products I have gotten in a box (subbed since Oct.) I am happy enough to continue, though I have changed up my categories.
Hoping next month with new preferences it will be a fun change.

Next up, I’m waiting on my 1st Fancy Food box, which I got with the $25 off promo and a $25 gift certificate. Really excited about that box!

My Fancy box comes in the middle of the month. I received the same tee and I love how soft it is. I also received the clock, a desk dust bin thing, and a bottle in which you can infuse citrus and such into water. I was very pleased to see your items. Under my settings, I asked that I not receive any items with profanity and I am happy that they actually took note of that and found an alternate item for me.

That’s a great assortment of things. I have that head massager. It looks weird but I love it. The clock and music branches are interesting products too!
