The Official C.I.A. Manual of Trickery and Deception (Paperback) - Value $14.99

I'm definitely interested in reading this book. Here's a description from the Fancy:

Magic or spycraft? In 1953, against the backdrop of the Cold War, the CIA initiated a top-secret program, code-named MKULTRA, to counter Soviet mind-control and interrogation techniques. Realizing that clandestine officers might need to covertly deploy newly developed pills, potions, and powders against the adversary, the CIA hired America's most famous magician, John Mulholland, to write two manuals on sleight of hand and undercover communication techniques.

In 1973, virtually all documents related to MKULTRA were destroyed. Mulholland's manuals were thought to be among them—until a single surviving copy of each, complete with illustrations, was recently discovered in the agency's archives.

The manuals reprinted in this work represent the only known complete copy of Mulholland's instructions for CIA officers on the magician's art of deception and secret communications.

Duke Cannon Supply Co "Big Ass Brick fo Soap" (2) - Value $14 total

I realize after I took this picture, that you can't really get a sense of scale, but it really is a big brick of soap! I really like the scent too - not sure if I would say it smells like "drinking fine scotch in a wood-paneled den" but definitely a nice clean masculine scent!

Pilot and Captain Tokyo Shirt - Value $32

I'm trying to figure out how the Fancy is sending me sized items without ever asking me my size? (Anyone else have this problem?) I like the shirt though, and fortunately it fits!

Verdict: Not a bad box - I only wish Fancy would include notes from the celebrities on why they picked the items - a little context would go a long way! Do you subscribe to Ashton Kutcher's Fancy Box? What do you think?

They ask your your size on the subscription page. There’s like dropdown menus to choose your size.

Overall I liked the box, especially the book. However, I wish they would have included a more gender neutral item instead of the soap. I will probably end up giving it to my brother as he is probably the only man in my life who would consider using a bar soap. I do like that proceeds from the soap go to veterans though! My father is a veteran so that hits home.
