Starbox January 2013 Review – Monthly Women’s Makeup Subscription Boxes
I love that this liner is waterproof. Starbox also recommends using it as a eyeshadow base.
Verdict:Starbox always provides an amazing value, and I think it's a great way to build out your makeup collection on a budget. What did you think of January's box?

I though the box (my second, or third if you count my birthday box, which was a total surprise!) was pretty good – love the brush and the brown eyeliner. I’m still iffy on the blush, but we’ll see. I don’t know that I’d use the green eyeliner alone, even though I like playing with color. It’s just too pale for an already pale me. But I liked that they suggested layering it with the brown for an olive color – that was actually rather pretty, and I’m glad they suggested it. I also like that the eyeliners are pretty creamy, so they go on nicely (though perhaps that was just because it was out in my mailbox and it’s 80 here, blargh). The bracelet is ok. Not something I’d normally wear, but it might be fun for St. Patrick’s day, as you suggested. The one thing that seemed odd was the little loose crystal just sitting in the box, which I can tell from your second picture, you got, too. I thought at first it had broken off the bracelet, but there doesn’t seem to be anywhere it would have fit. Kinda weird.

That’s a pretty good value for $15 and the since the bracelet was a “bonus” perfect for St.Patty’s and Emerald Green is THE color of the year 🙂
I love the contents of this box except for the bracelet. To me it looks like my son did an arts and crafts project. Also, mine came broken with loose beads in the box, but why bother getting a different one?
