POPSUGAR Must Have x Neiman Marcus Box I am super envious of anyone getting this ,past boxes are Gorgeous. Too bad it is out of my budget my hubby was off work this summer lawn mower blade got his foot,and now Saw mill just laid him off .

Not going to bite this year. Am going to get what I want from Neiman’s flagship store in Dallas myself. Always works out better for me than animal print stuff and I strongly dislike that necklace. Looks like the things we made from bent paperclips as kids to me.

So I went back and looked at all the reviews for this box, and unless I see full spoilers I can’t do it. Picture frames, ridiculously overpriced candles and snacks just don’t push me to get it. I loved the chevron throw and the agate cheese plates, but I don’t use cheese plates and I can probably find a blanket with that design anywhere. The jewelry was pretty as was the trinket box, but I can’t justify $250. It has to be a really spectacular box and so far I just don’t see it.

I’m with you and that’s too much money for me to spend right before the holidays. That hunk of change can buy many Christmas presents as opposed to a subscription box for myself.

Actually, amyr wasn’t being catty, she was simply stating a fact in very moderate terms; there’s no need for outrage.
I, too, would prefer that these two items weren’t in the box. Not that I don’t like them, but I have no need of another red lipstick (I already have the perfect one) and I already have a number of statement jewelry pieces that don’t get enough wear.
For those reasons, I’ll probably skip this box. But if I was building a red lipstick library (and most people have a time where they do have about 20 reds – until you find the perfect one), or didn’t already have a rather large jewelry collection, these two items would be great.

Like many others There are many things I like but lots of stuff I don’t in the boxes. I love reading the reviews but just can’t pull the $250 trigger. Such a big amount for a gamble. If they had them available after reviews I might be more inclined but they typically sell out.

they sell fast – think 2nd year, they over produced and one could buy in store for $50 less, was quite the scandal!

I think the necklace, but I don’t need any more statement jewelry (unless it’s real stones and real white gold or sterling silver…hint to hubby!).
I love that it is SILVER toned! It will look so pretty on everyone at Xmas/holiday parties.

Thanks. I received the email frlm from Popsugar too. Hey did anyone get the email from them about a box on sale in a email with 4 items. It was sent probably on Friday around 12pm but by the time I went to sign it was sold out already. I just wonder if anyone got to grab one, and if how much it was?
I would love to buy this box and drool like a bear when it’s reviewed. I could never throw down that one one box…..thats a year subscription to many others.

I got the email too, it was for a free box giveaway for the show Outlander. Seems like it was a first come first serve kind of deal. I was also too late to sign up for one. The email said 325 boxes will be given away at the bottom.

The Outlander box was a giveaway without activating old accounts, as far as I can tell. I managed to get one and never noticed any strings attached. Just checked my account and they did not seem to have resubscribed me. I may subscribe anyway, but I don’t think it was part of the deal for this box.

I got one! Apparently there was some type of computer glitch, and they didn’t get my email until the limit had been reached. It seems as though they are going to make some more boxes for those that were affected by this. If this is true, they have made a fan of me again.

I just went back through the reviews through the years. I would have LOVED the first year box, and for the rest of the boxes, would be happier spending $250 at Neiman Marcus on my own. This is probably the first year that I can ‘afford’ this box, and candles/picture frames/high end cosmetics don’t appeal to me enough to pull the trigger and purchase. Now that chevron throw? Swoon.
