First Impressions

Ask me what my favorite past times are, and you can bet soaking in the bathtub and long, hot showers will be included in my answer. That being said, when I was given the opportunity to review the Tubless Bath Bevy box, I couldn't pass it up. Reading Jessica's reviews for years, this subscription has been on my wish list forever, and now I get to see what it's all about! Read below to see what we received in the January box.

When I saw this box sitting outside my door, I was beyond excited. In this excitement, I dropped my keys behind the steps and got my sweater caught on the door handle, but managed to finally make it in the house. Guys, this box is heavy! I was surprised at the weight of this pretty blue and white package, and couldn't wait to open it up. Photos really don't do this box justice. While it may seem like just a box with tissue paper, it wasn't. The tissue paper was sparkly and secured with a sticker, there was pretty white crinkly paper. Overall, it just felt like a heartfelt gift. Besides the items, Bath Bevy also includes an info sheet detailing all of the products included.

Bath Bevy "Snow Day" Tubless January 2024 Review

Snowflake Shower Steamers, 2 ct - Retail Value $12

While Christmas was lovely, my entire household ended up with a virus to ring in the New Year. With coughs, body aches, and stuffy noses, our last week of winter break was spent lounging on the couch and watching TV while blazing through boxes of Kleenex. To help our road to recovery was this set of 2 Snowflake Peppermint Shower Steamers. These large steamers are made from Citric acid, corn starch, isopropyl alcohol, essential oil, and Colorant, and are seriously the longest lasting steamers I've ever experienced. With a powerful scent of peppermint, this cleared out my sinuses and lasted longer than my shower! Because we received two, I split one in half so each kid could try it out, and they too felt better after use.

Silky Vanilla Solid Lotion Stick - Retail Value $15

I have a love/hate relationship with lotion. While I love the hydration, I hate when it dirties my jewelry and gives me greasy hands. This lotion bar takes away all of the bad and only spreads the good! Encased in what's shaped like a deodorant stick, this silky vanilla flavored solid lotion is easy to use, incredibly moisturizing, and smells absolutely divine. Made with organic sunflower oil, beeswax, shea butter, fragrance, and Vitamin E, the lusciousness of this stick is impressive. I applied it to my legs pretty generously after showering, and the next day, my legs were still moisturized. Perfect for applying on the top of my hands, I no longer look like the crypt keeper, and smell delicately like the most natural and lovely vanilla bean. While at first I thought it was kinda neat, after a few uses, it might just be my favorite item in the box!

Snowed In Handmade Soap by Two Wild Hares- Retail Value $10

Homemade soap is amazing. I love the organic look, the short ingredient list, and the decadent scents. This bar was made by Two Wild Hares and included in the ingredient list is: olive oil, lard, coconut oil, water, lye, phthalate free fragrance oil, mica, titanium dioxide, tin oxide and ultramarine blue. Creamy white in color with blue swirls, this fits the "Snowed In" title perfectly and smells like frosted blueberries. Creating a light soapy lather, the fragrance is slight when using, and leaves skin feeling squeaky clean.

Hot Cocoa Whipped Soap Scrub - Retail Value $15

How fun is this product?! I love a soap scrub, but combined with hot cocoa fragrance AND with a whipped frosting texture, I don't think you can get any better! Deep brown in color with a dried lava-like sheen, this scrub exfoliates beautifully, all while being super fun to use. The hot cocoa fragrance is spot on, and literally smells good enough to eat. My kids got a kick out of this scrub and excitedly scrubbed their feet with it, giggling and smiling the entire time. Because I love exfoliating prior to shaving my legs, this has definitely become my go-to, and I just can't get enough of the fun theme.

Snow Day Body Wash - Retail Value $12

Body wash is always a useful item, and this blue shiny soap smells heavily like almond extract, all while leaving skin clean and moisturized. The lather this formula creates is decent, and leaves a slight almond scent after rinsing. The easy-to-use pop top makes application a breeze, and the overall look makes washing up just more fun!

Happy Hygge Whipped Soap - Retail Value $15

OMG, I absolutely love, love, love the scent of this whipped soap. Featuring notes of ripe pear, vanilla bean, toasted marshmallow, and amber, this looks exactly like whipped frosting, and I seriously want a dessert that tastes exactly like this smells. Soft, fluffy, and moisturizing, this is not only fun to use, but functional as well. Blue in color, this whipped soap works great for hydrating before shaving, and leaves the bathroom smelling fabulous!

Value – Was This Box Worth It?

The Cost: $43.21 per month + $7.95 shipping.

Key Takeaways

Being new to the Bath Bevy Tubless game, I have to say I am beyond impressed. This month's "Snow Day" theme encompassed everything winter and the fragrances, packaging, and overall curation was spot on. While the lotion stick was probably my favorite item, the shower steamers, whipped soap scrub, and whipped soap tied for second, with the body wash and handmade soap in third. I am already looking forward to next month's box! If you love using artisan bath products, but taking baths isn't your thing, I recommend checking out this Bath Bevy Tubless subscription.
