Bath Bevy is a subscription box for those who love self-care. Each month subscribers will receive a thoughtfully curated box featuring bath bombs, bath salts, and other bath products from various indie brands. If you aren't a fan of baths, Bath Bevy even has a Tubless subscription option, where you'll receive handmade bath and body goodness without a single item that requires running a bath. When you subscribe to Bath Bevy, you can expect to bathe in luxury no matter if you're standing in a shower or sitting in a tub.

This is a review of the Tubless Bath Bevy box, which will not send bath bombs, bubble bars, or any other bathing product you need a bathtub for.

First Impressions

This subscription comes packaged in a blue and white box, and when you open it you find the items thoughtfully tucked inside sizzle and tissue paper and sealed with a sticker. You can really tell Bath Bevy pays attention to detail by how they pack their box. There is also an info sheet detailing the products included.

Note to reader: If you feel like this November box review is a little late, you're not wrong. Bath Bevy was perfectly timely with their shipping, but my wedding and honeymoon fell in the middle of this month and caused a delay. Thanks for understanding!

Bath Bevy "Perfect Time to Hygge” Tubless November 2023 Review

Calming Lavender Shower Steamers, Set of 2 - Retail Value $12

Oh Bath Bevy, I love your shower steamers! While zesty eucalyptus or peppermint are my favorite steamer scents, lavender isn’t far behind and really helps to make your shower a more relaxing experience. I like to use my zesty shower steamers in the morning to help wake me up, but this one is perfect for using when I take a shower before bed.

Patchouli Clovebud Soy Tealight Candles by Green Daffodil,  Set of 4 - Retail Value $8

The patchouli and clovebud scent of these tea lights makes for a nice contrast to your more floral bathing scents. I love that Bath Bevy sends matches whenever they send candles- it’s nice not having to scrounge some up. I have a friend who adores tealight candles and has multiple types of candle holders, so I am going to pass these along to her when I see her for the holidays.

Warm Vanilla Handmade Soap by Two Wild Hares - Retail Value $10

I don’t think you can go wrong with a classic vanilla soap. This would make a good small gift or stocking stuffer! I like the pretty swirls in the design, and the quality is great- it doesn’t dissolve fast in the shower the way some soaps do.

Cozy in Cashmere Whipped Soap Scrub - Retail Value $15

This soap scrub has a great winter scent that isn’t too gourmand, with notes of vanilla, French pear, and cashmere musk. As always, I love the airy whipped soap texture this has. There are some scrubby sugar bits but it isn’t overly harsh, and it leaves your skin smelling great.

Earl Grey and Apple Body Wash - Retail Value $12

A lot of winter scents can be heavy or overly gourmand, so this Earl Grey and apple scented body wash was such a nice change of pace! I do think it fits in with the Hygge theme, too. This body wash does a good job of leaving you clean without your skin feeling stripped.

Orange Cinnamon Waffle Shower Steamer by Whipped Up Wonderful - Retail Value $8

This shower steamer was sent to us in a previous box some months ago, but I am always happy to see a shower steamer. I love the idea of this in theory, but I found the strength of the scent left a little to be desired once it was actually on the floor of my shower. It smelled great when I held it up to my nose, but it wasn't very aromatic as it was dissolving, which was a bit of a bummer.

Value – Was This Box Worth It?

The Cost: $43.21 per month + $7.95 shipping.

Value Breakdown: Everything in this box is handmade by Bath Bevy or another small artist. All of the prices for everything adds up to $65, which is more than the cost of the box plus shipping.

Key Takeaways

I really like that Bath Bevy Tubless embraced the relaxing Hygge theme this month instead of sticking solely with holiday gourmands (don’t get me wrong- I love a good holiday scent, but I like the change of pace). I love that I can reliably count on getting shower steamers with every month’s box, and the vanilla soap and Earl Grey and apple body wash were my other two favorites this month. If you love using artisan bath products, but taking baths isn't your thing, I recommend checking out this Bath Bevy Tubless subscription.

I am a staunch believer that pineapple doesn’t belong on pizza and when I’m not working as a family law attorney I enjoy hiking the Louisiana trails (alligator sightings are a favorite!) or relaxing with Duchess, my cat. I’m a sucker for anything labeled a mystery box and I’ve never met a bath bomb I didn’t like.
