First Impressions
Your IPSY Glam bag will come in the brand's standard pale pink bubble wrap mailer. When you open it up, you can always expect to find a makeup bag storing your new beauty products and an info sheet with additional details. This month's bag was a repeat I've received before rather than a unique bag, which is out of character for Ipsy. My box also shipped a little later than usual because I couldn't resist adding this BTS x Amore Pacific lip mask set as an add-on to my box.
The Breakdown – What’s Inside My July 2023 Ipsy Glam Bag
Generation Skin Revitalizing Hyaluronic Acid Eye Patches, 2 ct - Estimated Value $12 (buy a box of 5 for $30)

I am a big eye mask fan (so much so these were my choice item of the month), and I thought these were solid performers. I didn’t like them enough to pay $6 per pair individually for them, but they did a nice job of soothing the delicate skin under my eyes and adding a boost of hydration thanks to the Hyaluronic acid. The black color does make these stand out among my eye mask collection, too.
Keys Soulcare Golden Cleanser, 30 ml - Retail Value $12
I’ve been able to try a few of the Keys Soulcare products thanks to subscription boxes, and I like that this cleanser is made with turmeric, Manuka honey, and chamomile. I would be happier if it didn’t have the added fragrance to give it the sage and oat milk scent, but honestly, I don’t find the scent to be that noticeable. I feel like this does a good job of cleansing my face when there isn’t anything on it, but this isn’t what I would want to reach for if I had a lot of makeup on
Toyfactory Niablend Serum Concealer in F2, 6 mL - Estimated Value $12 (buy the 15 mL version for $30)
I was excited about all of the good skincare-loving ingredients this concealer is made with. Formulated with niacinamide and described as having a “built-in serum,” this is a buildable coverage concealer designed to keep your skin hydrated. This showed a lot of promise, but the shade F2 is too dark for my fair complexion.
Give Them Lala Beauty Sugar Lips Exfoliating Lip Scrub, 15 mL - Retail Value $22

My lips have honestly been giving me a hard time these past few weeks (I think they got sunburned?), so I was very happy to see this full-size exfoliating lip scrub in my Ipsy bag. This is a super moisturizing scrub with only a touch of grit thanks to the shea butter, beeswax, peptides, and jojoba esters. I personally thought the sugar was the perfect choice for this scrub, but if you’re wanting a really gritty scrub this may not be strong enough for you.
Seraphine Botanicals Amla Nude Silky Nude Eyeshadow Palette in Dawn Light - Retail Value $34

This eyeshadow quad from Seraphine Botanicals is just a beauty. Both the shimmer and matte formulas are buttery smooth, and I thought they all had great pigment (no issuers with chalkiness here). The shades are very wearable neutrals that blend really nicely,

I think this was one of the better glam bags I've received from Ipsy in a while! Other than the concealer being a little too dark, everything in my bag was pretty great. This is definitely one of the higher-value bags I've received in recent memory, too. My favorites from the bag this month would be the lip scrub and the eyeshadow quad, but overall I am happy with this month's bag. At $13, this is a tough subscription to beat- especially when every month you get to choose one of the items they send.
