Bespoke Post is a monthly membership club that delivers high-quality lifestyle products from up-and-coming brands. It’s voted as one of the best men’s subscription boxes of 2023 by our readers and it’s a great box for women and couples as well.

When you sign up, there’s a quiz to determine your preferences and interests, then you’re matched with a new themed box every month. For $49 per month, each box promises at least $70 in retail value with items ranging from outdoor gear, barware, home, and kitchen goods, clothing, and more. If you're not into the boxes selected for you, there are many others to choose from.

Unlike most subscription boxes, you get to preview your Bespoke Post box before it ships and you can easily swap for a different box or skip the month for no charge. You only pay for the months that interest you.

This is a review of the "Botanical" box.

This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out our editorial guidelines to learn more about how we review boxes.)

First Impressions

Bespoke Post almost always has a good presentation. They have a different sized box for everything.

Inside the Bespoke Post "Botanical" Box

Kanso Designs Stonewash Pot and Saucer - Retail Price $30

"This traditional planter has been marbled with a natural white stone finish to give it a natural concrete look. It is perfect for any medium-size plant. Made with recycled plastics, the finished product is combined with materials like natural stone and wood to completely change the nature of plastic into a green composite material. As each planter is the result of handcrafted finishes, each item contains its own personality and unique details."

It measures 7.85 in. wide by 7.1 in height (7.35 in. opening diameter.) I'm gunna level with you. I took this straight from the website, because that is the best written description I've seen while reviewing. Bespoke offers the item in white or olive.

Kanso Designs Adjustable Dark Bamboo Plant Stand - Retail Price $39

Your new plant can be displayed in this hand finished, adjustable, bamboo plant stand that can be flipped upside down so you can choose between two different heights. It measures 13-1/2 inches tall, which is split 4-1/2 inches and  7-1/2 inches depending on how you orient it, and extends from 8 inches to 12 inches.

Bespoke's website says this is the "dark" version of this stand, but, call me crazy, I think mine looks closer to the regular version. Unfortunately, that version is sold out at the time of this review.

Fiskars Big Grip Multipurpose Planting Knife - Retail Price $15

This item was actually a pleasant surprise to me. I somehow missed that it was included and was excited to discover it in the box.

"Fiskars Big Grip Multipurpose Planting Knife features a special multi-functional, plated steel head that includes a sharpened blade edge for slicing up sod or splitting seedlings, a serrated blade edge for breaking thicker growth and a forked tip for removing roots. The durable, rust-resistant head won’t snap off, while large, ergonomic handle with SoftGrip offers excellent comfort and control. Additionally, the handle includes a hang hole for convenient storage."

Copied that one too.

Verdict

I got this box as a present for my wife's birthday. That's the beauty of a subscription like Bespoke Post; you can always pick something for someone else and get a good deal. We both liked every item. The pot has a classic look. I like that the stand is reversible and extendable. Again, the planting knife was a pleasant surprise.

All around, a great box by Bespoke Post. You could even order a couple, if you wanted a collection. Originally, I requested this box to upgrade an existing potted plant in our house. However, it doesn't fit the plant we already have, but that just means we can buy another plant...which I will also say is for her birthday.

Let's Talk About Value

This box clocks in at $74. That's $20 more the cost of this sub ($54 including shipping). While within the realm of the promised value, it's a little on the low side. I would like to see a little more value with something like a pair of gloves. With the value I saved, I think I may buy a pair.

To Wrap Up

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes, the "Botanical" is available at the time of this post. If you ever do miss out on something though, be sure to check back, because boxes usually return or there are similar items.
