Bath Bevy "Sea Sun Sand” Tubless August 2023 Review

Lemongrass + Orange Shower Steamers, 2 ct - Retail Value $12

I have a lemongrass cleanser I’m using right now that smells amazing, so these shower steamers are the perfect addition to a true lemongrass sensorial experience. I love how they help me feel a little more awake when I take deep breaths under the steamy water while the scent of these fills my shower.

Lime + Coconut Whipped Soap Scrub - Retail Value $15

Our household really enjoys tropical scents, so this lime and coconut-scented whipped soap scrub was right up our alley. This soap has sugar granules scattered throughout to give a gentle exfoliation experience that isn’t too harsh on the skin, and I like how lightweight and fluffy this soap scrub is- it’s a lot of fun to scoop out of the jar and use.

Seaside Paradise Whipped Soap - Retail Value $15

This whipped soap is pretty similar to the soap scrub, only it has no exfoliating granules inside. I like that, because I don’t need to exfoliate every single day but I definitely want to be clean! The scent of this is a mix of coconut milk, fresh cream, and peaches- yum!

The texture of the whipped soap is lightweight, but more firm than the soap scrub if that makes sense- I took a picture of the two side by side to give y’all a good idea of how they compare.

Two Wild Hares Lime in the Coconut Sea Sponge Ocean Soap Bar

Y’all, my jaw literally dropped when I pulled this out of the box. I’ve had soaps made with a loofah before but an actual sea sponge?! I want to put this on display, but I was equally stoked to try this out. Just like the whipped soap scrub, I really enjoyed the refreshing lime and coconut scent of this soap bar. It left my skin feeling soft, but not dry or tight.

Bella & Bear Pineapple Punch Body Butter - Retail Value $5

This body butter is on the thick side, and the texture almost reminded me of Play-Doh. It wasn’t hard to rub in though, and I liked how moisturized it left my skin. The scent has a lot of pineapple notes (which I love), and it was the perfect lotion to follow up with after using the whipped soap scrub in the box.

Ten Thousand Villages Starfish Pedicure Friend - Retail Value $14

Isn’t this just a delight! Along with being adorable, it’s a functional tool to help soften the rough skin on your feet. The ceramic starfish is textured to gently massage in without being too rough, and it’s the perfect size to hold in my hand. This was crafted in Nepal, and I really think it adds a special touch to our box this month.

Value – Was This Box Worth It?

The Cost: $43.21 per month + $7.95 shipping.

Value Breakdown: Everything in this box is handmade by Bath Bevy or another small artist. All of the prices for everything except the bar of soap adds up to $61, which is more than the cost of the box plus shipping.

Key Takeaways

Even though I love baths and bath bombs, I quite enjoy the Tubless Bath Bevy subscription- even more so in my new bathroom! This month's sand and sun-themed box had me daydreaming about my upcoming honeymoon on the Mexican Riveria- I need to be diligent with my new starfish pedicure friend! If you don't enjoy the scent of coconut and lime this may not have been the box for you, but I was all over it. One thing I like about this box is you can always expect cohesive products that will provide a lovely sensorial experience, whether you use them separately or in a longer pampering session. If you love using artisan bath products but taking baths isn't your thing, I recommend checking out this Bath Bevy Tubless subscription.

I am a staunch believer that pineapple doesn’t belong on pizza and when I’m not working as a family law attorney I enjoy hiking the Louisiana trails (alligator sightings are a favorite!) or relaxing with Duchess, my cat. I’m a sucker for anything labeled a mystery box and I’ve never met a bath bomb I didn’t like.
