First Impressions

My typical white box arrives beautifully packaged.

Included were helpful cards and a booklet with loads of details about this box featuring two formulas from YINA. This is one of those brands that is gorgeous to unpack and is always ingredient-focused for high-performing products.

The Products

YINA Hydracloud Cream, 50 mL - Retail Value $98

Our first item is a nicely sized tub of moisturizer that even arrived with its own adorable shell spoon! Little spoons like this are great because you can use them to get the perfect amount of product from your cream without cross-contamination from your fingertips. This formula is heavier than its name might suggest but I would still consider it a medium-weight moisturizer. And the ingredient list is really quite marvelous! I will start with my favorite callouts: inflammation-fighting cicapair, niacinamide, and green tea. Also appearing are panthenol, ceramides, and lots of antioxidant-rich botanicals. It also has a total of FIVE different Ginseng extracts inside. With a soft neroli scent and a velvet feel, I can see this becoming one of my favorite daytime moisturizers this season.

YINA The Essential Mist, 100 mL - Retail Value $75

I love a botanical-powered face mist and this one is most certainly that! Seriously, here are just a few: Angelica, Licorice, Snow Mushroom, white tea, Skullcap, Lotus, and Ginseng. It's a great step between your serums and moisturizer or, as I have been doing a lot recently, a rehydrator for a sheet mask you just aren't ready to be done with. It smells like roses and herbs and leaves a nice moisture level, even on bare skin.

Verdict

Beauty Heroes delivered two products from a brand I already really enjoy, and I found both of them to be worthy and wonderful additions to my spring skin plans. With an overall value of $173, you would be hard-pressed to find a better value.

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

I’d gladly pass on the cute spoon for air resistant packaging. It’s more than just putting your fingers in, the air exposure renders the beneficial ingredients worthless. I don’t get why these companies create these amazing formulas and then don’t protect them with proper packaging. I love YINA and I bought an airless container to scoop it into.
