Your Bijoux Box is a monthly jewelry subscription for $49.99. Each box contains 3 pieces of custom-designed jewelry, exclusive to the box, plus a bonus item, with a total retail value of $200.

Your Bijoux Box gives you a choice of your favorite metal. This month’s designs are plated in 18k rose gold; though there is a silver-only option. Besides metal preference, you can also select whether or not you want earrings, and put in your ring size.

The best part is that Shana, the owner, is very accommodating. I usually choose not to receive earrings because I don't have pierced ears; but some months I want to gift my set to my mother or sisters (who do have pierced ears). I simply message Shana through Facebook messenger (email also works) and ask for earrings that month. It’s never been a problem for her to make that happen!

This box was sent to us free of charge for review. (Check out our editorial guidelines to learn more about how we review boxes.)

First Impressions

February's theme is "Archer Goddess” and it’s as romantic as Valentine’s Day! Photographs, especially mine, don’t do justice to this collection.

It’s a lovely set and I’m happy to share that each piece of jewelry arrives in its own plastic bag. This prevents them from tangling in transit. They arrived in a pretty pink box, perfect for Valentine’s Day.

Bring On The Bling!

Archer Goddess Necklace

Like the entire February set, this gorgeous necklace is dipped in 18k rose gold that seems to glow. The focal is a pendant with an arrow over what I interpret as a bow or shield. The arrow is covered in round, clear Cubic Zirconias; while an emerald-cut magenta CZ dangles nearby.

Both the clear and magenta CZ have an incredible sparkle; but the magenta one is my favorite because of the richness of the stone. Not only does the ruby-like color fit the Valentine’s theme, it also pays homage to Pantone Color Institute’s choice for color of the year: Viva Magenta!

Each component is well made and the chain is sturdy and super shiny. A sweet bonus is that the little stoppers at the end of it have matching, sparkling CZs! There is a slider clasp on the back of the necklace to adjust it to the perfect fit. The slider makes putting on this jewelry quick, easy and painless!

Archer Goddess Bracelet

As is always the case with Your Bijoux Box jewelry, the bracelet fits well with the style of the necklace. The bow and CZ encrusted arrow are the centerpiece of the bracelet. It manages to fit the theme without too much going on. Plus, it’s easy and comfortable to wear.

Like the necklace, the bracelet closes with a slider clasp that is adorned with two sparkly, magenta CZs on the end. I’d also like to add that the bracelet is a great length. I have 7.5 inch wrists and large hands but I can still slip it over them.

Archer Goddess Earrings

These arrow earrings are a darling way to continue the archer theme. I love how unusual the design is! Rather than a small bow and arrow dangle, these arrows appear to wrap around your earlobe in a very creative hoop style. To create the look, a matching, emerald cut magenta CZ dangles from them.

I’m so sad that I can’t pierce my ears, because I’d look for any excuse to wear these beauties! My friend Jamie, who kindly modeled the jewelry this month (thank you, Jamie!), told me that they’re not just beautiful, they’re also comfortable to wear.

Chocolate Truffle Luxe Body Wash - Handmade by Shana

I’m amazed by Shana; not only does she design every piece of jewelry in each box, she handmakes each month’s bonus item. And she does both of those difficult tasks very well!

The bonus self-care item this month is a handmade body wash that smells just like chocolate truffles. I’m surprised how much like chocolate this body wash smells! I’m always a fan of chocolate that has no calories!

I love the smell, however, my bottle contained a very liquidy body wash. I’ve never seen a body wash that thin before. As a result, it doesn't really lather and just runs off when I try to squirt it on. I found that if I saturate a washcloth with it, I’m still able to use it. While it smells amazing, I prefer a thicker body wash that is better able to lather. All of Shana's other bath and body items have been incredible, though, so I’m still impressed with her talent!

The Verdict

This is my sixth year receiving Your Bijoux Box, yet every month I’m still excited to open the little blue bag. The “Archer Goddess” collection is a sight to behold!

I’m a huge fan of rose gold. It’s been my favorite metal since I saw the Black Hills gold jewelry that my dad bought for my mom, when I was a kid. It has a soft warmth that looks lovely on just about any skin tone. So it’s no surprise to me that rose gold is super trendy right now.

This “Archer Goddess” collection from Your Bijoux Box, makes brilliant use of the metal. It adds an extra feminine touch to a very romantic set. Playing on the child-like lore of Cupid and his arrows, this collection is a grown up way to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

For me, Your Bijoux Box jewelry is a step above most jewelry subscriptions, because the jewelry is dipped in sterling silver or 18k gold. Also, unlike most jewelry boxes, the stones used aren’t cheap pieces of glass; they’re genuine CZs that sparkle like crazy. CZ, or Cubic Zirconia, is a manmade stone that is harder than most gemstones (meaning less likely to chip or break) and is close to the shininess of a diamond. Thanks, Wikipedia!

As for the stated retail value of $200, I feel it is more than fair. Cubic Zirconias, sterling silver or 18k gold plate and the fact that you receive gorgeous, high quality jewelry that is exclusively found in this box, is definitely worth at least that much.

All of these pieces of jewelry were designed by Shana, the owner of Your Bijoux Box. It’s obvious she puts a lot of care into every collection. Each set isn’t just beautiful, it’s well curated.  All the boxes have themes that are timely, fit the season and are on trend.

To Wrap Up

Can you still get this box if you sign up today?

No, your first box will be the March box. However, if this February “Archer Goddess” collection hasn’t sold out, you can contact Shana and let her know that you want it to be your first box.

You can also go to Your Bijoux Box’s website and purchase this, plus other past boxes that she still has available.

Value Breakdown: This box cost $49.99, which means each of the 3 jewelry items cost $16.66 (not counting the handmade body wash). That’s an amazing value for one of a kind, higher end jewelry that’s incredibly lovely.

This subscription is delightful and I’m always impressed by Shana’s thoughtful curation. February’s box is a perfect example – the rose gold, the amethyst (Feb’s birthstone) and the bow and arrow evoke Valentine’s Day without all the cutesy hearts.

Thanks for a great review with equally great pics, Kate!

Subscription Snob

This sub is getting pretty repetitive. Same chain each month, slider, bracelet. And I’m not a fan of the bath product bonus items. Maybe if they were bigger and had nicer packaging.

I loved this sub but had to cancel after a year or two because I just couldn’t wear this much jewelry, 6 years is amazing you can wear that much! Unlike you I got tired of her skincare which is another reason I canceled. But she is a lovely person.

That’s such a cute set. Do you get the same items if you request the silver only option? I’ve never done jewelry subs because I won’t wear yellow or rose gold. Just silver. Also, this is just my curiosity. You said you can’t pierce your ears. Do you mind sharing why you can’t? I had to wait until I was 14 (pushing 40 now). Was only allowed one hole per ear. I ended up piercing my own ears 3 more holes on each ear and hid it from my parents for quite some time! Gosh, I was quite a handful I suppose. Piercing and what’s acceptable in the workplace has changed so much. I still took out all but my first holes when I was employed in corporate America. That was some years ago. Anyways, I was just curious when you said you can’t pierce your ears. I hope you don’t find my question rude, just curious.

I’m so sorry that I’m just seeing your comment!

I can’t pierce my ears because I have skin that easily keyloids. In college I had a cartilage piercing at the top of each lobe, but had to stop wearing earrings there after a keyloid formed. I’m too afraid to try my lower lobes. I scar so easily. 😭
