Quirky Crate showcases one item from a featured artist or brand each month. This month features an illustrating duo, Chelsea & Ian Amberson. Check out their Etsy store, MineEyesDesign, where they sell digital goods. This info card gives you some insight into their background as well as some social media info.

On the flip side of the card, Quirky Crate includes an itemized list of each product and its value. This month's theme is "Play that Funky Music," featuring some accessories and flair with cute and quirky 'tude.

Time to get quirky!

Boombox Purse - Listed Value $40

When was the last time anyone has seen a boombox or even a stereo? I remember recording songs I've requested on the radio and making mixed tapes for my besties on one of these bad boys. Simpler times. I appreciate this bag, although it might be telling of my age. I love a bag with an opening that is big enough to see and reach all of its contents. This bag has a little gold handle at the top, and it also comes with a black, faux leather strap.

Set of Records Coasters - Listed Value $14

This collection of records has already been put to use on Ronan's table. Ronan is two and is practicing drinking out of a big boy cup, and along with that comes the responsibility of placing his big boy cup in the right places. Using a coaster gives him a good example of where full cups of milk and water should go, instead of just setting it anywhere haphazardly. He is especially fond of the blue record, so it has been making its way across the house. These rubberized coasters are cute, but I couldn't see them suiting just any type of decor. I'm glad Ro adopted them and puts them to good use.

Music Pretty Please Enamel Pin - Listed Value $10

I think this is the biggest pin I've seen from this sub. It has a very 70's feel both with its color scheme and vintage record design. This is 100% my sister's aesthetic. She has a very impressive record collection and even tends to decorate using mustards and burnt oranges. As soon as I saw this, I knew it would make the perfect stocking stuffer for her. It has two pin-backs to bear the weight of this beast.

Music Washi Tape - Listed Value $3

Washi tape is fun to decorate scrapbooks, mail, packages, planners, etc. You can jazz up really any type of stationary with this craft tape. I have a lot of washi tape that has gone unused, but I am going to make a point to bust it out soon and hopefully use it more often, starting with this roll of music notes.

Queen Socks - Listed Price $8

These socks were a welcome surprise! I love Queen, so naturally, this pair is a great fit. They are a little thin, as you can see, the black fabric sheers out a little when I stretched the socks over my foot and ankle, but that happens sometimes with colorful socks. This pair fits comfortably on my size 7.5 feet.

Mine Eyes Design Billie Eilish Sticker - Listed Price $4

billie sticker

I can't tell you how much I love this sticker. It captures Billie's essence perfectly. It is now permanently adhered to my laptop stand so now I can admire her indifference while Black Friday shopping and answering emails today. Same, girl... same. Mine Eyes Design is a cool clipart/printable art shop on Etsy, and they have a ton of different themes, including my two favorites, Hip Hop Legends, and Goth Clipart.

Rock Star Sunnies - Listed Price $18

Once again, QC has found a style of sunnies that I do not currently have; my hatred for bright light is quelled by hoarding sunglasses which I wear 100% of the time that I am outside. This pair is more of a statement piece or 'sunglasses at night' style instead of the 'protect your retinas from burning' type, but I still think they are fun for costume uses.

Lookin'/feelin' groovy.

The Verdict

November's Quirky Crate was a home run! I try to incorporate music into all aspects of my life, and now I have the flair to show everyone my music appreciation. I am especially excited to gift the vintage record enamel pin and rock the Queen socks this month. QC's themes never disappoint, and I always have a blast unboxing every month. This subscription is not the more bang for your buck box, but it is one whose curation makes me smile every time. The total value of this box adds up to $97, over double the $36.95 + $8.50 shipping subscription cost.

Keep Track of Your Subscriptions: Add this box to your subscription list or wishlist!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, you'll receive the December box but previous boxes are sometimes available for a one-time purchase of $40.

We ship around the 15th of each month. (Must order by the 13th of the month.) If you'd like your gift subscription to ship right away, please email us after placing order.

Value Breakdown: This box costs $36.95 + $8.50 shipping, which means that each of the 7 items in the box has an average cost of $6.49.

I’m a self-proclaimed “cool mom” who loves a little, who am I kidding, a lot of razzle-dazzle. I have been box-obsessed for over 10 years, and I am always on the hunt for new beauty, fun flair and trendy clothing boxes. A fun night for me includes an exfoliating foot mask and a bag of Dot's Pretzels while binging Rupaul’s Drag Race.

It highly annoys me that wuirky crate over price the items supposed value so much. Every single bag that is included are always available on aliexpress for like $8-$16 far from quirky crates lies of ‘worth $40’.

Cute! The only thing that I find sketchy is the sticker of Billy Eilish. It doesn’t seem like anyone on Etsy should be allowed to use her copyrighted image. It would be like an Etsy seller using Disney or Nike without Disney or Nike knowing. Does it happen? Yes. Is it legal? No.
