The info cards provided give us some details on the items included this month, as well as some background on the Henné Organics brand and its creator, Laura Xiao. Laura launched her brand back in 2015 with an emphasis on organic products and minimal design. This entire box is lip-focused, which I find really exciting!

Lip Mask, 15 mL - Full Size! Retail Value $37.00
So, while I wouldn't really describe myself as a stressed or anxious person in general, I am a lip chewer. It's a dreadful habit and often leaves my lips looking ragged, which isn't cute! I am always down for testing out lip products since I feel like I am constantly abusing mine. This cheerful yellow mask has a medium weight and a scent with notes of citrus and just a hint of peppermint. The directions say to apply a thicker amount to lips and then wipe it off after 15-30 minutes. I thought this worked well but I liked treating it as a lip sleeping mask even more. Whichever way you apply it, it is super nourishing because it contains oils like avocado, rosehip, sea buckthorn, and jojoba paired with beeswax and vitamin E. As we are coming out of a season that has been especially cruel to our smiles (winter winds AND masks) this is the perfect treat to indulge your lips.

Lip Serum, 10 mL - Full Size! Retail Value $45.00
This lip serum feels so fancy! Arriving in black glass with a 24K gold plated roller, the whole presentation is positively luxe. Per the instructions, this can be used before you apply your daily lip color, making it a lightweight daytime treat for lips. I found that it absorbs pretty fast, meaning it plays well with other lip products I might wear on top. You can also use it at night. Inside is a blend of nourishing oils (arctic cloudberry seed, argan, jojoba, rosehip, green tea seed, and more) as well as a little passionfruit extract and beeswax. It feels lighter than the mask but the impact is obvious. My lips feel softer almost immediately and I have noticed this seems to promote dry skin turnover really quickly. This formula also mentions that it can help promote collagen production over time.

Lip Exfoliator in 'Rose Diamonds', 10 mL - Full Size! Retail Value $24.00
Who doesn't enjoy a good lip scrub? Especially after coming out of the winter months! This little black glass pot arrives full of chunky pale pink sugar crystals. The scent is sweet and smells like rose petals. The ingredient list is beautifully simple and contains fatty oils (coconut, jojoba), shea, beeswax, raspberry and blueberry extracts, and vitamin E. It feels a little thicker than other scrubs I have tried and is kind of like a chunky balm you can apply then massage in circular motions. The sugar crystals are abrasive enough to smooth your lips but not so rough that it hurts like some scrubs out there. Though the pot is on the tiny side, it takes very little per use so I can see this lasting a long time.

Luxury Lip Tint in 'Desire', 5 mL - Full Size! Retail Value $21.00
By the time I first tried this lip tint I had already used the other items and my lips were downright smooth and perfectly prepped for such a pretty red finish! This tint is extremely subtle, but enhances my natural lip color and adds a little extra pep while still complimenting a subtle or even makeup-free look. The texture here is pretty heavenly and super smooth. Like the other products this month, this one is infused with oils (coconut, castor, jojoba, avocado) and waxes (beeswax and candelilla) that seriously pamper your lips and improve them the more you wear this tinted balm.

Verdict: This month's Detox Box made me feel like my lips hit the lottery. Between the mask, scrub, and serum they are feeling baby smooth which makes me want to try my best to be nicer to them! The positive effects from all that pampering are enhanced by the red-tinted balm that maintains the moisture levels on my smile and also enhances my natural lip color for just the right amount of extra. The total value this month lands at $127 which is very nice for a $55 box.
