When you sign up, you answer questions about your style (size, colors, patterns, clothing type, etc.). An actual stylist puts your pack together so, even though your pieces are a surprise, they should work for you. You can leave feedback for your stylist to help make your next pack even better.

The Ms. Collection Premium Once a Month Plan August 2018 Review
My stylist and I communicated a bit before she sent my pack. I hadn’t marked skirts as an item I typically wore, but she thought she had one that would work well for me. I told her to go for it! After all, expanding my style is the point of having a stylist help me. So, I received a dress, a skirt, and two shirts to pair with the skirt.
The info card includes some instructions for the pack, a handwritten note from my stylist, and the retail value and member price.
Karen Kane Envelope Sleeve To, Pink, S - Retail Price $89, Member Price $71.20
The first top that I wore was this bright pink, tulip hem top. The front panels overlap and each has a curved hem, which reflects the cut of the sleeves. Kortney, my stylist, decided to size down for this top, which was a great call. The way it’s cut gives the chiffon fabric lots of flowy movement but could easily swallow me up. To get some shape back, I tried tucking it into the skirt and really like the look. The neckline is a flattering, but not too deep, v-neck cut and the color is beautiful.
Sanctuary Cold Shoulder Top in Black, M - Retail Price $69, Member Price $55.20
Here’s the second top meant to pair with the skirt. I knew I’d like this one right away! It’s a cold shoulder top and the straps are thick enough to hide my bra and to balance my broad shoulders. The fabric is a viscose/rayon blend and is like a thick, matte chiffon. It’s fully lined with another black chiffon layer, so no show-through. The flutter sleeves are a cute touch. I left this top untucked since it is a bit shorter than the other top and has a fluttery cut that contrasts well with the fitted style of the skirt.
Esqualo High Waisted Skirt in Black/White Stripe, 8 - Retail Price $69, Member Price $62.10
So here’s the skirt that Kortney thought would work out well for me. And I think it did! I like the fitted, structured look and that it is high-waisted. It really helps to hold everything in and smooth out my silhouette. It’s cotton with 2% spandex, so it has some give, and is fully lined. I think the length is perfect for me since it is so fitted. I’m kind of excited to try the high-waist skirt/tucked in top look more often now.
Gentle Fawn Sleeveless Dress, M - Retail Price $99, Member Price $79.20
My last item this month was this summery dress. The fabric is a very thin, light navy, rayon with a pink rose pattern. I stayed cool since there is no lining but I slid on a pair of compression shorts to prevent any show through.
The waist has a drawstring so it can be cinched to create more shape.
Ah, buttons...I like the idea of this high neckline but there is gaping when I button it up. I usually have to undo a few to make some room in the bust area. It works here and I like that I don’t have to go too low.
Here’s how I wore this dress most of the time. I prefer to layer on a jacket when I wear sleeveless dresses to bring some balance to my top half.
About Returns:
Each pack includes a pre-paid return envelope. When you are done with your pieces, just pop them in here and drop it off at the post office. The Ms. Collection will process your return and get a new pack out to you within a few days. (If you are purchasing anything, just leave them out of your return package.)
A note about cleaning: You don’t have to clean the pieces before sending them back. The Ms. Collection has everything cleaned once the pieces are returned. I didn’t notice any smell (including fragranced detergent which is good for those with sensitive skin), stains, or signs of wear. Actually, everything was in perfect condition!
The Verdict: I thoroughly enjoyed my pack this month! I appreciate Kortney reaching out to ask me about a style that she wasn’t sure I’d like. Sometimes I need someone to push me a little, and I ended up finding a new way to style myself. Everything was well-made, clean, and in great condition. You wouldn’t be able to tell these are rental items by looking at them. A big draw for me, besides the stylists’ help, is that I get to wear and play around with styles and clothing that I wouldn’t be able to buy for retail price. And, I don’t have to worry about getting tired of anything. The total retail value of this pack was $326.00 and for a price of $69 with free shipping, I’m happy!

Value Breakdown: Since this is a clothing rental service, the value really comes from being able to change up and try new looks every month. I also get a chance to wear high-quality brands that I wouldn’t be able to spend this kind of money on often. There is always the option to buy an item for a discounted price if you love it.
