HangSquad August 2018 Review
These are the questions from the Style Profile that you fill out when you set up your account. They also ask for your Instagram name which is how they track which earrings you comment on and like so they can possibly include them in a future box.
This is the card that was included in the box to describe which style of earrings I received. This month my earrings were both Classic Beauty, which definitely fits my style preference.
Gold Flower (?) Studs - Estimated Value $18 (based on the only other pair of studs with gold currently in their shop)
These look like flowers to me, but they are somewhat abstract, so maybe I am completely wrong! Either way, these are very delicate gold studs with a fairly intricate design considering how small they are. I'm a big fan of studs because I like earrings that I don't have to remove at night.
These were hard to get a great picture of on since they are on the smaller side, but the low profile makes them comfortable to wear any time. These were definitely my style and I was happy to see them in my box!
Gold Hoops with Stones - Estimated Value $18.00 (based on the fact that they are gold hoops with stones like these)
This pair of earrings was much different than the first, other than them also being gold. I love the hammered design of the hoops and the subtlety of the stone. The weight is perfect, just enough to make them feel like a quality pair without being too heavy in my ears.
Here they are on. I opted for all sizes of earrings except for the large and bigger the better sizes, so I would assume they consider these to be mediums, although they still feel a bit big for me. I do tend to be on the more modest size with my ear wear these days though. Although these are versatile enough to wear casually, I'll probably only wear them to dress up an outfit for special occasions!
This is the feedback form that you fill out once you receive your earrings. I like that they ask you what you would like to see next time! It would be great if you needed something specific for an upcoming event.
The Verdict: I really enjoyed both pairs of earrings that I received from HangSquad. I wear mostly gold and they both fit the classic beauty style well, both of which were my preferences in my Style Profile. The studs will definitely get worn the most, but I know I'll get some use out of those hoops too. These felt like decent quality for costume jewelry and I look forward to seeing what they send next month after receiving my feedback!
