You’ll receive four different types of candy each month. Three will arrive in cups and the fourth will be loose candy in the box.
They no longer offer the option of selecting sweets, sours, or sweets + sours – instead, you’ll take a short quiz to decide what types of candies you’d like to receive each month.

This month's box came with a sneak peek for next month's selection.
You will also receive a little packet of info cards corresponding with each sweet treat. They offer descriptions of the candy along with nutritional information. It looks like this box was missing two of its cards, however, so I looked them up on the Candy Club website.
Albanese Sour Gummy Bears
I love gummy candy, and gummy bears specifically, so I was really thrilled to see these! They reminded me of Sour Patch Kids but not quite as sharply sour. The gummies themselves are flavored like traditional gummy bears, but they're tossed in sour sugar-coated fruit flavor. Gummy flavors include cherry, strawberry, green apple, pineapple, lemon, and orange. Tangy and delicious!
Kookaburra Liquorice Shooters
I didn't think that I'd like these at all (not much of a licorice fan over here), but they were actually really uniquely enjoyable. Each fruity licorice bite is filled with creamy fondant that sort of squeezes out when taking a bite. I didn't notice much difference in flavor among the various colors, though -- it's pretty much licorice across the board. Not my favorite, but it was nice to try something different.
Albanese Red Hot Cinnamon Gummi Bears
If you love spicy, chewy sweetness, these are for you! Each bear has just enough of that hot, cinnamon flavor to really warm you up from the inside out. A super satisfying winter snack!
Sweet's Peppermint Salt Water Taffy
Candy Club describes the peppermint flavor of this taffy as refreshing and uplifting, and I have to agree! There's something about peppermint flavor that makes the winter season that much more special. These taffy pieces are bit sticky, though, so you can expect to be picking at your teeth for a bit.
Verdict: Candy Club sent a really nice seasonal variety this month with a mix of sour, refreshing, sweet and spicy. Lots of traditional holiday flavors. The cost works out to be almost $13 per pound including the shipping costs, so it's really about the convenience and/or surprise of receiving new candies each month more than a value standpoint for me.
