Happy Birthday, Facetory! This month we are all joining in the celebration of the Facetory first birthday. The monthly card is a thank you to all of their loyal followers and subscribers. Cheers to a wonderful first year and many more to come!
The monthly information card outlines each mask from the box! There is a little description so you know what mask is best to use when and instructions on how to use as well. I have always found this to be super helpful! Plus, a fun sticker page was included this month.
Dr. Plus Banana Milk Mask Pack – Listed Value $4.00
The first mask of the month is this delicious banana milk that smells just like bananas! The mask itself is made of cotton so it sticks nicely to your face to ensure that your skin is locking in all of the moisture. The mask itself has a milk-like texture to it, which is where all of the moisture is coming from and focuses on balancing the water content in your skin. I used this mask at night before bed since the card notes to do so. There was a lot of excess serum on my skin after removing the mask which I rubbed in. I woke to a lovely glow that was full of hydration!
Yadah Revitalizing Jelly Pack – Retail Value $5.90, Listed Value $4.00
With ingredients like avocado fruit extract, hydrolyzed collagen extract, and panax ginseng root extra, this mask is perfect to revitalize and restore aging skin. The card notes that this mask is great for all skin types and the cotton will help to minimize any skin irritation. I decided to share this mask with my husband, who is now a big fan of Facetory! He thought the scent of the mask was a bit too perfume-like, but overall loved the cooling feeling that the mask provided while wearing it. When you remove the mask you will have a ton of that jelly serum on your face so be sure to rub that all in on your face and neck. He did have a bit of redness after using the mask, but woke up with a bright complexion!
This mask was so cool! This is an “all-in-one” mask that is meant to remove dead skin cells, excess sebum, and blackheads. The egg white extract in this mask is basically a protein that helps to tighten your pores and leave your skin feeling smooth. Unlike other masks that I have tried, this bubbles as you wear it! When I went to remove the mask it literally looked like I had bubbles of soap all over my face so you want to be sure to rinse it all off after removing the mask. I really loved the way this mask made my skin feel, but I noticed that my skin was extremely dry the next day. I have very dry skin naturally so I think I would only use this if I had a breakout that I wanted to clear up, otherwise, I think it might have been too aggressive for my skin type.
Wonjin Effect Relief Cure Mask – Retail Value $3.04, Listed Value $4.00
I love multi-step masks, it always feels like an extra treat right at home! This mask is meant to provide relief to irritated or tired skin. I have been experiencing some breakouts recently, most likely from all of the holiday food I have been consuming, so this was the perfect mask to use! The first step is a calming toner that smelled so fresh, then you move onto the soothing ampoule made of bay leaf and green tea extract, and then you apply the mask. I felt an overall cooling effect on my skin that I desperately needed. I rubbed the serum in after removing the mask and went to bed. What I woke up to was a refreshed face that didn’t look nearly as dry as it has and my breakouts weren’t nearly as red.
Mediheal Airpacking Mint Wrap – Retail Value $5.00, Listed Value $4.50
This cotton mask is made out of TPU film and mint pearl powder to help protect your skin from the environment. Plus, the serum is made up of 70% saccharomyces ferment filtrate which provides moisture, elasticity, and protects your skin from UV light. The card also notes that this mask is great for sensitive skin, which is exactly what I have. I decided to use this in the morning before applying my makeup and boy was I happy that I did! I was left with this bright glowing skin that made application of my foundation a breeze. I love knowing that the ingredients were meant to protect my skin from polluted air which was another reason why I decided to start my day with this mask!
Dewpiel Defense Mask Pore – Listed Value $4.50 (Buy 3 pieces for $9.00)
This mask had a beautifully fresh scent that reminded me of cucumber water. I decided to share this mask with my Mom who was very interested in trying this mask in particular. This microfiber sheet mask provides protection for your pores from the environment. It also helps to solve various skin concerns and leaves you with a clean and clear glow. While my Mom didn’t see a big difference to her pores, she felt that the mask left her skin brighter and cleaner feeling. She used the mask at night along with her daily moisturizer and felt that she woke to a healthy glow.
The monthly card notes that COSRX is a new brand that they are featuring! The mask is a multi-step process that will help to calm irritated skin and prevent future breakouts. The first step is to wash your face with their low pH gel cleanser, then you will use their original clear pad to tone and exfoliate your skin, and then you want to apply the mask to lock in moisture from its snail mucin extract. I thought this mask was unique from anything that I have received from Facetory before! It really was everything you could need to balance irritated skin in one kit. I used this when I had another round of breakouts, but again thought that it might have been too strong for my skin. I was pretty dry for a few days, but I will say that it did clear my breakout nicely!
Verdict: Facetory is the perfect box for anyone that loves to treat their skin, but that might not have a ton of free time to head to the spa. For me, there is nothing more fun than going through my Facetory box each month to plan which mask I want to use when. I also love that they are starting to include more multi-step masks and new brands. Plus, with the SEVEN LUX box, I am able to share with my family or friends if there is ever a mask that I feel won’t be the best for my skin type.

Value Breakdown: This box comes in at $19.90 a month when factoring in the cost of shipping. The average price per item for the seven masks comes to $2.84. Even though I wasn’t able to find all of the masks to purchase online and a few I could only find in bulk, the value of each mask is well above that average. I think the value of this box, even with the shipping fee, is totally worth it for everything that you receive. I really felt that this month’s box brought new masks that were very different from what I have received in previous month’s.
