Adore Me August 2017 Women's Intimates Subscription Box

Adore Me is a monthly intimates subscription service that lets you shop high-quality lingerie, sleepwear, or athletic sets for the VIP subscription price of $39.95.

Adore Me August 2017 Women's Intimates Subscription Box

Adore Me is very similar to Fabletics or JustFab in their processes. Each month you log into your account between the 1st and 5th to shop for a set that you’d like or you have the option of skipping that month. If you don’t select anything, the monthly $39.95 you are charged will just be saved as store credit that you can use at any time.

I have never used Adore Me, so I was really excited to try it out!

The packaging is just too adorable!

I was initially concerned that Adore Me would not carry my size; it is a struggle being ample in the chest. However, I was happily surprised and impressed by their incredible selection of sizes and styles!  There are a ton of styles to choose from, including bralettes, push- up, and padded styles, sexy and everyday designs, and even a collection of swimsuits for a limited time this summer! Bra sizes run from 30A to 46G, and panty sizes range from XS to 4XL. Sleepwear is also available.

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Azura Contour Plus Bra In a size 46G/46DDD

I tend to gravitate towards nude and black bras for my everyday attire, but I do have amassed quite the collection of different colored bras and animal print ones too (leopard print…what a shock!). When you have a larger chest, it can be rather difficult to find a bra that is not only functional but cute. I am glad to say with this bra, you do not have to forsake either functionality or style for the other. I was drawn to the gorgeous sapphire jewel tone of this beautiful lace bra. I also was sold on the longline balconette style; I find it really flattering and classic.

I love the lace up detail with the little bow on top. This bra is very elegant and flirty, but it is also very comfortable to wear. It has a lot of support too in the formed cups and the straps are adjustable. Those are incredibly vital features, for certain.

The thick, mesh band gives generous support that is a must for me. I definitely contribute how comfortable the bra is due in part to the thickness of this longline bra’s band. I could have stood to go a cup size smaller, actually, but one great thing about Adore Me is they do accept returns and exchanges!

Azure Contour Plus Panty in a size 4x

I usually opt for a brief style (dare I say it… granny panty?) for my underwear, so I opted to go up a size in these since they are a hipster style. Doing this worked out well for me. The panty has the same lovely front lace up and bow detail as the bra. The back is literally cheeky in a slightly see through azure mesh material. The fabric is a nylon spandex blend, so they have a nice stretch and are amazingly comfortable. Much like the bra, you do not ditch comfort for fashion with these panties.

Verdict: I tend to stick with Lane Bryant bras, but after trying out Adore Me, I sense that will be changing! I am really impressed with the quality, the styles, and the range of sizes they offer; they are so inclusive! Being a plus size woman, bra shopping can be frustrating and downright nightmarish at times! I love having a new, reasonably priced, option in Adore Me. You really can’t go wrong with $39.95 for a bra and panty set; half the time a bra alone is $40 at any mall or department store! I feel like I did myself a disservice not signing up with them sooner, but hey— better late than never, right?

What did you get this month from Adore Me?

  1. I gotta say, you really sell these subs if you like them. I got Jewelry Subscription because of your review and I think I’m going to do this because of your review too. I really didn’t know they carried bras to fit me. I’m not plus, at least not on the bottom, but I’m broad shouldered and big chested and it’s hard to find pretty bras to fit. Nice to see there’s a whole selection of them, although they do seem to go a little heavy on the lace – not a fan of that.

  2. It’s odd that they are equating a G cup with DDD. Most places call DDD an E cup, if anything! G should be a five D, not three!

Maybe that explains why the cup was too big? Did you think it would fit like a triple D from Lane Bryant?

    • Yeah, I am a 44/46DDD normally, but even my old bras seem a slight bit big. So, I definitely need to get remeasured. I figured going 46DDD with them would be better than smaller. It is probably more my error than theirs tbh!

      • Oh noes! Quick bra intervention advice. If bras aren’t fitting right definitely redo measurements (another reason why I love Bare Necessities they have a great guide and tips for what may be wrong is if you have quad bra what may be wrong).

Also because bra elasticity decreases over time it might be better to err with a smaller size (although truthfully best bet would be good measurement where you can wear a bra and not gave to be on the first or last set of hooks – due to size fluctuations and elasticity loss).

        • Defintely! I am definitely going to do that before my next selection with them because I want to give you all THE BEST and most accurate review possible on the products for sure. I think I was in denial that my chest got smaller, but alas. hahhaha

  3. Great review! I am happy to see a plus sized review on the bras, they have some beautiful styles. Lane Bryant has started offering more designs in the F, G, H cups but it is nice to have more options. I remember the days when all the large cups came in was white, nude and black, it was terrible!

  4. I think I have finally weaned my youngest and am ready for some new non-nursung bras. I might give this a check.

I will say that for anyone with large breasts – check out Bare Necessities. I have shopped with them for years. I have gotten everything from regular bras, nursing bras to the bra I used when I got married a.k.a. the best cleavage of my life.

    • Oooooh, thanks, Loba! I will have to check Bare Necessities out!

  5. One of my favorite subs! I’m 42DDD and 3xl and I can finally wear pretty lingerie! Not just boring nude or black. I have so many AdoreMe sets and I wear them every day.

  6. I got excited, but it didn’t last. I’m a large band 44 but a small cup B and they don’t carry my size. Boo 🙁

  7. Thanks for mentioning the available sizes. It’s hard to find that info on the site since they try & make me enter my e-mail to do anything, which…. no thanks.

I’m a 38J/40I, so this is no good for me.

    • Awe, that is a bummer you can’t use it, Marion. Hopefully they expand their bras further because it is so hard to find cute bras for us fuller figured ladies!

  8. Thanks for reviewing this! I’ve been wondering how their plus sizes were. This is a beautiful set! You mentioned going down a cup size. Would you say the bra fit is overall is similar to Lane Bryant/Cacique or does it run larger?

    • I lost a slight bit of weight, so I think that is a contributing factor in the sizing for me. It is similar to Balconette to me. I usually wear the Balconette and now defunk plunge, but I do find this comparable to LB. It doesn’t have the same amount of padding as some of there’s do at LB. The nice thing about Adore Me is first set is $19.95 and they tend to give lots of coupons if you are VIP! It is worth trying out at least for the first set! Thanks, AmyM for checking out my review. I hope my answer helps! I will let you know if I go down and find a better fit. 👍👍👍

  9. There is no shame in wearing granny panties! It is all about comfort. (That’s pretty much all I have…)

    • Amen to that, Ragan! All hail the granny panty!
