Pennie Post is a monthly stationery subscription service by indie stationery company, Elsie J. Pennie Post is all about the fun of sending and receiving mail. Each month, you'll receive a new assortment of unique, quirky items that could include notecards, cards for all sorts of occasions, postcards, and other products to help you up your greeting game. The cards are typically blank inside, too, so you can customize your message!

Pennie Post has a theme each month, and July is "Childhood Favorites".

Dinosaur Birthday Card

This dino card comes complete with a matching envelope! He looks so happy with his party hat, ready to give a present to his best bud.

Cotton Candy Girl Card

I haven't been to the circus in ages, but boy, do I like to get cotton candy at a hockey game or the local amusement park. This little girl donning an orange and yellow dress is sure to take you back to simpler times. The inside is blank, so you can choose what occasion this is appropriate for.

"Happy Birthday" Balloons Card

Classic and to the point, this bunch of colorful balloons wants to make sure the recipient is filled with birthday excitement.

Library Check Out Card with Pocket

It saddens me that a lot of kids these days will never know the joys of checking out library books this way. You'd sign your name and the librarian would stamp the date on the side so you knew when to return it. Nowadays everything is just scanning barcodes. How cold! I love that they included this in their "childhood memories" theme because it certainly conjures up my own.

Verdict: Pennie Post provides and simple and sweet subscription for those of us who love sending out cards and writing and address on the outside of an envelope instead of clicking a "send" button. The cost is $11.63 each month, which makes each of the four items valued at under $3.oo a piece. That seems like a good deal to me, to receive a mystery of 3 cards and a special items delivered to my door.

I used the coupon above and received July’s stationary for $3. The curation was perfection! Sending out these cards and not hoarding them could be a struggle. Ha ha. But actually I already have recipients for each and am so eager to see their reactions to these darling cards.

So smart to have recipients charted out before you even get them! Ha! Glad you got to use the coupon!

I loved this months sub so much. Penny Post has always been my favorite card subscription. Every now and then I take a break when I have a bunch of cards and then immediately regret it when I see what I missed.

I love the library card! I wish I had 10 of them to send to friends.

Every time one of these paper subs include anything old school library related I am so jealous! Love that check out card. It especially reminds me of summer long ago; since I would walk to our library and check out books weekly during the summer.

My favorite card of the bunch is the carnival one. Would be great for a summer birthday, wish you were here or even leaving a thank you if you stayed at someone’s home during a summer visit.

The dinosaur one is interesting. Something about his design feels like this isn’t a nice, tame dinosaur. It kinda looks like that dinosaur has other plans and is trying to lure tasty people with birthday cake. Clever girl!
